Is this in the microwave? If not then how long do you cook it in the oven and on what degrees? Thanks Michelle
hperschnick said:It is just a cake mix and a can of diet cola (or I guess regular would work also). So if you are doing Chocolate you can do a dark cola - lemon or light cake do a diet 7-up or something light, I did an orange cake mix with Diet Orange Slice or something. Anyway - the mix, the can of soda and mix it together... put in a prepared fluted pan (or any prepared pan) and bake. You're done! The previous post mentioned the frosting and you would put your batter in the fluted pan, then before you cook it dollop the frosting on the top of the cake (which will be the bottom). The frosting will sink during baking and go to the top of the cake.

Fluted Stone Cake is a delightful dessert typically made using traditional ingredients like flour, sugar, eggs, and butter. When cola is used instead of some of these traditional ingredients, it adds a unique flavor and moisture to the cake, resulting in a denser texture and a hint of sweetness that complements the other flavors.
Yes, you can use any type of cola, including regular, diet, or flavored varieties. However, keep in mind that different types of cola may alter the flavor profile of the cake. For a classic taste, regular cola is often recommended, while diet cola can be used for a lower-calorie option.
Using cola in your Fluted Stone Cake recipe may slightly alter the baking time. Since cola adds moisture, you may need to check the cake for doneness a few minutes earlier than the original recipe suggests. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean when the cake is done.
When making Fluted Stone Cake with cola, it’s important to mix the ingredients well to ensure that the cola is evenly distributed. Additionally, consider reducing the amount of sugar in the recipe since cola is already sweet. Finally, be sure to grease your fluted stone pan thoroughly to prevent sticking.
Absolutely! You can enhance the flavor of your Fluted Stone Cake by adding ingredients such as chocolate chips, nuts, or spices like cinnamon and vanilla extract. Just be mindful of the overall balance of wet and dry ingredients to maintain the cake's texture.
