A friend shared this link with me. The little "movie" takes about 9 minutes to watch, so be prepared. It's fun. They posted that it was filmed in 1949 -- pre-Mackinac Bridge or I-75.

That was fun! What was amazing was that much of it was still recognizable.

I'm a true Michigan Gal - I've been to and done most of the things on the video. LOVE the Dunes!

This was a good reminder of why I live in and love Michigan. Needed that about right now, since Bill Steffen was just informing us that Mon. & Tues. were the first back to back days with sun since Nov. 16(and no sun today:(), and that Grand Rapids has had 88 inches of snowfall this year - and winter is only half over!:eek::cry: (avg. yearly total is 72 inches!:eek:)

But did anyone else get, well, basically, porn YouTube videos in their "Related Videos" links on the right?

Not that I mind, I just found it odd that somehow soft porn would be related to Northern Michigan somehow.

I wondered about that too and thought it was odd.

I don't ever visit YouTube (unless someone has linked me to a specific video). Are they allowed to post porn?
 
No, there is actually other sites like youtube that are designated to porn, but nudity isn't allowed on youtube.
