lisacb77 said:The one plus side of not making commission on 1/2 price and host special is that you can offer it in a nonpushy type of way if you need. Like when my friends have shows or are past hosts, I remind them about the special and let them know that I'm just trying to make sure they know about all the deals and I'm not just out for me since I make $0 on those!

I'll take points!!!
You could actually enter the individual product numbers, and then play around with which items are half price and which use FPV.spoiledchef said:Hmmm....that's an interesting thought BUT if they choose one of the half-price combos on the back inside cover, there's NO WAY we can enter those any other way than half-price, right???
Half-Price Hostess Perks are special rewards offered to hosts who hold a Pampered Chef party. These perks allow hosts to purchase select products at half price, providing an excellent opportunity to acquire high-quality kitchen tools while enjoying the benefits of hosting a party.
When a host uses Half-Price Hostess Perks, it can impact the consultant's commission. Since the products purchased at half price are counted as sales, the consultant earns commission on the full retail price. However, if the host does not take advantage of these perks, it may lead to fewer overall sales, potentially affecting the consultant's commission earnings.
Yes, consultants can encourage hosts to utilize Half-Price Hostess Perks as part of their hosting experience. By explaining the benefits and savings associated with these perks, consultants can motivate hosts to maximize their rewards while also boosting the overall sales for the party, which can enhance the consultant's commission.
If a host chooses not to use their Half-Price Hostess Perks, they may miss out on significant savings on products they want. Additionally, this could result in lower sales for the consultant, which might affect their commission. It's beneficial for both parties to take full advantage of the available perks.
Yes, there are typically some limitations on the products that can be purchased with Half-Price Hostess Perks. Certain items may be excluded, and it's essential for hosts to review the current Pampered Chef catalog or consult with their consultant to understand which products qualify for the half-price discount.
