I have been doing Vegie skewers, showing off our skewers, the new silicone basting brush and our crush garlic peppercorn seasoning, w/ the outdoor plates. The grilling cards have some great recipes, I want to try the margarita shrimp. I tell the host if they want meat they have to do it themselves. I use the crinkle cutter for the squash, cook's corer on the bells deseeding, cutting boards, colander bowl set to wash mushrooms. I love these shows, not many dishes and it takes 10 minutes to cook skewers.:D

Well one of the things I'll be doing at my grilling party is....Mandarin Pasta Salad W/ Grilled Chicken;) If you wanted you could have everything ready to go, grill the chicken breasts & put it all together! Viola!!:D :D . I was also thinking, depending on the grill itself, going to the low side & making the Bananas Foster W/ ice cream:D :D :D

At a cluster meeting last year one of the directors demoed grilling on our grill pan (the small sqaure one). She slathered chicken breasts with mayo (to keep the moisture in the meat and make the seasoning stick) then sprinkled them with our grill seasonings. They tasted soooo yummy and juicy. While they were cooking she shared grilling tips. I would pair this with an easy salad and/or rice in the rice cooker.

I have tried the mayo trick with steak and it was totally delicious!

Yes I have & its SUPER EASY! You can get the recipe in CC or its also in Casual Cooking. Just heat up the liquids remove from heat & add the bananas. :D ( you also get to use the Microplane grater, citrus juicer, egg slicer,of course ANY piece of cookware you like;) ;) etc...for 5 minutes prep time.

Tina...if there is a low side on the grill, you make it there....I used my 12in skillet & it was too big. You can have 4 of the bananas already sliced ( make sure they are dipped in Sprite or 7up);) I zested(if thats a word) with the micro plane. Then cut the lemon in half & got the juice from the citrus press. It all goes so fast, you dont even realize you're done;) ;) ;) .
