Need help..I'm chairperson of fund raising for my hobby group. Our goal is to raise funds for historical preservation of a local fort.

As PC consultant, can I also be the contact person/host when setting up the show on the PWS? The check will go to the group, of course.

Just want to be certain this is ok with HO and PC guidelines.

Thanks,

It should work as long as the organization can cash a check. PC will make the check out to whatever organization you want.

I thought it 'should' work but just wasn't sure. Will probably call HO to be certain. Thanks,

You're fine. Fundraisers can go to any company, group w/ a checking a/c or organization, just not ever to an individual. Remember NO host benefits other than monthly special. NO booking bonus, NO free items, NO half off items, YES free shipping.God Bless!-praying for Paige and her family-

Free shipping? I put the host special in for the chairperson of the fundraiser I did the other night and shipping is being added. Am I doing something wrong?

I've never had the chair receive free shipping - I'm almost positive the only benefit they receive is the 60% off host bonus.

I thought that's what I read on a different fundraiser thread. I'll plan on her paying shipping.

You're right- OOPS - no free shipping. (I need to do another FR to sharpen my memory!) God Bless!-praying for Paige and her family-

Made my presentation yesterday, to the Board. Waiting now for an answer, but the presentation went really well. :chef:

Not bragging about the presentation, just mean they were receptive. My knees did not shake and that was a bonus.

Printed out speaking points in a LARGE font, easy to refer to, and that helped me a lot. Kept it short and sweet, professional but friendly. Also offered a percentage of my profits.

Please send good thoughts my way!
