Attached is a game to do at a Pampered Chef bridal shower. You take whatever rubs and mixes you have at home and dump some of each into small little containers (about 10-12) You number each one (so you know the answers) and then you hand each guest a copy of the attached sheet. They pass around the mini containers and try to guess which rub/mix it is. They can open the containers and smell/look, just not taste. After all guests are finished, tell the answers and whichever guest has the most correct, gets a free rub (one that you brought with you). Oh, the Bride gets to keep all the little containers too when it is over. I think this will be fun. :) I am doing it on Sat. The attachment is in Word, but I made it in Works first, so if it looks a little weird, that is why. But you'll get the just!

Thanks- I am going to have to borrow or buy some of these spices/rubs but I too want to give it a try for A Sept. shower-- even could be good for a regular party during the dribble in.

I love this idea - for a shower and regular show! A page with a recipe for each spice would be a great idea for the host/bride; this way, she'll have a recipe for some spices she may never have used. You could also have it available for the guests to see so they could get ideas too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some fun shower games to showcase Pampered Chef rubs and mixes?

One popular game is a "Taste Test Challenge" where guests sample different dishes made with various Pampered Chef rubs and mixes. Another idea is a "Guess the Flavor" game, where participants taste a dish and try to identify the specific rub or mix used. You could also organize a "Recipe Relay," where teams create a dish using a selected rub or mix and present it to the group.

How can I incorporate Pampered Chef products into the shower games?

You can use Pampered Chef tools, such as measuring cups, mixing bowls, or serving platters, as part of the games. For example, during the "Taste Test Challenge," use the products to prepare and serve the dishes. Additionally, you can offer Pampered Chef rubs and mixes as prizes for the winners of the games.

What types of dishes work best for the games?

Dishes that are easy to prepare and serve work best, such as dips, marinades, or simple appetizers. For instance, you could create a variety of dips using different rubs, allowing guests to taste and vote on their favorites. Finger foods that can be easily sampled are also ideal for keeping the atmosphere fun and interactive.

How can I ensure everyone participates in the games?

Encourage participation by forming teams and assigning roles, such as chef, taste tester, and presenter. You can also create a friendly competition with small prizes for the winning team. Make sure to explain the rules clearly and keep the atmosphere light and fun to engage all guests.

Can I host a virtual shower with these games?

Absolutely! You can adapt the games for a virtual setting by sending out samples of the rubs and mixes in advance. Use video conferencing tools to host the games, allowing participants to cook together and share their creations. Virtual breakout rooms can also facilitate team activities and discussions about the dishes made with Pampered Chef products.
