I have several long distance consultants and want to start videoing my meetings and cooking shows... as training. I'm also tech challenged! My questions is what would be the best way to video it? I don't want to post it on youtube for everyone and their brother to see and I only want to my long distance consultants to have it. Local consutlants have all of those opportunities monthly with various training events.

Is there an app. or program that would allow me to do this and send it to them through an email?

Thanks,

Karen

I too would be curious. Something other than Skype.

I just made a video for my team. If you have a camera that does video, that's the best way as you get the best picture. Then you use Windows Movie Maker (you should have it as a default program on your computer) to edit and save it. You can upload to YouTube and make it private so only the people who have the link can see it. :)

The videos I do for my team are on YouTube. They are private and unsearchable.

Great info. Now, Colleen, do you record yours with a camera as well?

I record mine on my iPhone. Works great! Just make sure to delete them after you've uploaded...HUGE resource hogs!!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the key features to look for in a video conferencing tool for private viewing?

When selecting a video conferencing tool for private viewing, consider features such as screen sharing, recording capabilities, user-friendly interface, security measures (like password protection), and the ability to host multiple participants. Additionally, check for compatibility with various devices and operating systems to ensure accessibility for all attendees.

How can I ensure the privacy of my video conferencing sessions?

To ensure privacy during your video conferencing sessions, use platforms that offer end-to-end encryption, require passwords for access, and allow you to control who can join the meeting. Additionally, avoid sharing meeting links publicly and consider using waiting rooms to screen participants before they enter the session.

Are there any free video conferencing options suitable for private viewing?

Yes, there are several free video conferencing options that can be suitable for private viewing, such as Zoom (with limitations), Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. These platforms often provide essential features like screen sharing and chat, but may have restrictions on meeting duration or participant numbers in their free versions.

What is the best way to test a video conferencing tool before my private viewing event?

The best way to test a video conferencing tool is to conduct a trial run before your event. Schedule a test meeting with a few trusted participants to familiarize yourself with the platform's features, check audio and video quality, and troubleshoot any technical issues. This will help ensure a smooth experience during the actual event.

Can I record my video conferencing sessions for later viewing?

Yes, many video conferencing tools offer recording features that allow you to capture your sessions for later viewing. Make sure to inform participants that the session will be recorded and check the platform's settings to enable this feature.
