I did a fair last Friday, and I have not yet contacted all those who filled out drawing slips. But to my surprise this morning, I get an e-mail saying I have my first recruit! It was someone who marked a 1 on the scale of 1 to 10 of interest in the opportunity!

I just had to share my surprise and excitement. Thanks for listening!

The fair drawing slip in the files section. I think I'm going to use it at all of my shows now.

I'm sure I don't have to SAY this but.. be sure to call her right away and offer to help her however you can. Remember that your director is there to help you help her too!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! One more and you are a FD!

I actually called her directly I got the e-mail, and I had her over today and got her started with a catalog show! We went over the consultant's corner, pampered partner, PWS, and some of the business basics and the products. She's very excited, and of course so am I.

Thanks for everything, everyone!

PERFECT!!!

Its funny because I know I personally think that I have to take the time and "talk people ito this" or "explain away their objections", some people can just tell right off the bat what a great opportunity this is!

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean to have my first recruit from a recent fair?

Having your first recruit from a recent fair means that someone you met at the event has decided to join your team as a consultant. This is a significant milestone in your direct sales journey, as it indicates your ability to connect with others and inspire them to become part of your business.

How should I follow up with my new recruit?

Following up with your new recruit is crucial for their success and your relationship. Reach out to them promptly to welcome them to the team, provide them with essential resources, and discuss their goals. Schedule a one-on-one meeting to answer any questions they may have and to set a plan for their onboarding process.

What are drawing slip entries, and how do they work?

Drawing slip entries are forms filled out by potential customers or recruits during events, allowing them to enter a drawing for a prize. These slips typically collect contact information, which you can use to follow up with participants after the event to discuss Pampered Chef products or the opportunity to join your team.

How can I effectively contact drawing slip entries?

To effectively contact drawing slip entries, start by organizing the collected slips and categorizing them based on interest. Reach out via email or phone, thanking them for participating and informing them about the drawing results. Use this opportunity to introduce them to Pampered Chef products or the business opportunity, tailoring your message to their expressed interests.

What should I say when contacting someone from a drawing slip?

When contacting someone from a drawing slip, begin with a friendly introduction and mention the event where you met. Thank them for participating and share the drawing results. Then, ask if they are interested in learning more about Pampered Chef products or the business opportunity, and be prepared to answer any questions they may have.
