How do any of you keep track of your calls that you make. Leads, ccc's, etc. Sometimes I call past host or customers randomly to see if they would like to have a party. Do you have a seperate sheet for each of these? What if they say they really aren't interested what do you do with it? I don't want to re-call someone because I forgot I already called them!!!

Thanks!

You can always make a note in P3--Last contacted [date].

I try and make notes like Rae mentioned. It's great because it's on hand when you sit and make calls. I tend to sneak in calls while out & about....so I write a list of names in my calendar of people I'd like to call which I get from the P3 report of leads. I indicate what kind of call I'm making by each name: R - recruit lead, H-potential host, C- customer service. I put a checkmark on the ones I called and misc notes in my calendar. Then once that list is "done", I make a new list in my calendar.

Pretty archaic, but I can't yet seem to figure out a system that is smoother.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best methods to organize my contacts for lead management?

To efficiently organize your contacts, consider using a customer relationship management (CRM) tool, spreadsheets, or contact management apps. Categorize your contacts by status (e.g., leads, customers, follow-ups) and use tags or labels to easily filter and sort them based on interests or engagement levels.

How can I segment my contacts for targeted marketing?

Segment your contacts based on various criteria such as demographics, purchase history, and engagement level. This allows you to tailor your marketing messages and offers to specific groups, increasing the likelihood of conversion and fostering stronger relationships.

What tools can I use to keep track of my leads?

There are several tools available for tracking leads, including CRM software like HubSpot, Salesforce, or even simpler options like Google Sheets. These tools can help you manage your contacts, track interactions, and set reminders for follow-ups, ensuring no lead falls through the cracks.

How often should I update my contact list?

It's important to regularly update your contact list, ideally on a monthly basis. This ensures that you have the most accurate information, helps you remove inactive contacts, and allows you to add new leads. Regular updates also help maintain the effectiveness of your marketing efforts.

What strategies can I use to follow up with leads effectively?

To follow up effectively, create a follow-up schedule based on the lead's engagement level. Use personalized messages that reference previous conversations or interests. Consider using automated email sequences for initial follow-ups, but always aim to add a personal touch in later communications to build rapport.
