Or you can take a few slices of the fresh pineapple and crush it and add sugar. That's what I did the first time I made that recipe and it was perfect. (canned pineapple would work for that as well)chefann said:Pineapple preserves is like pineapple jam. It'll be near the jams and jellies. If you can't find pineapple, you can use apricot preserves.

The Jerk Chicken Salad typically requires boneless, skinless chicken breasts, jerk seasoning, mixed salad greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and a dressing of your choice, such as a lime vinaigrette or ranch dressing.
To prepare the jerk chicken, season the chicken breasts with jerk seasoning and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes. Then, grill or bake the chicken until fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side on the grill or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let it rest before slicing it for the salad.
Yes, you can prepare the components of the Jerk Chicken Salad ahead of time. Cook the chicken and chop the vegetables, then store them separately in the refrigerator. Assemble the salad just before serving to keep the greens fresh.
The Jerk Chicken Salad pairs well with a variety of sides, such as cornbread, rice and beans, or a light fruit salad. You could also serve it with tortilla chips or a refreshing beverage like iced tea or lemonade.
Absolutely! The Jerk Chicken Salad is great for meal prep. You can portion out the salad ingredients into containers, keeping the dressing separate until you're ready to eat. This way, you can enjoy a healthy meal throughout the week without compromising freshness.
