I am completely jazzed for my 2008 with PC! I have many goals that I want to meet and want to start working on them now. I don't feel like I can call people anymore right now, aside from my customer care calls from my December show. What else can I do to work on my business and keep up my enthusiam?

Try some recipes you haven't tried yet.Talk about your products and how you use them in your home in a "natural" way while you visit with friends and family.Keep a smile on your face wherever you go - the next person you meet could be your next host!Stay in front of your customers with fun holiday cards, emails or anything else you would like to do that is "fun" and just a "greeting" (no sales message).Just a few things I thought of off the top of my head.

Stay in contact with your January Hosts - keep them excited about their shows!

Set your goals for 2008 and post them on your bathroom mirrow and INSIDE the fridge! Seeing them daily will remind you why you're doing this!

Use this time to do those things that usually keep you away from the phone but still need to be done, like organizing your office. It's semi-productive, and if you weren't planning to make phone calls anyway, it's a better use of your time than watching TV.

Set a goal with your Director and/or recruiter. Let them know what you want to achieve in 2008.

Sign up for Conference Club for Conference. There's only a couple months left for Conf. Club, but having even partial registration fees set aside helps tremendously come July.

Read through the Policies and Procedures again. (Never hurts, and you may see something you never noticed before.)

I totally agree with Becky on staying in touch with January hosts. And add February hosts to that list, too!

Thanks everyone for the responses. Here's what I have done so far.

I listed on paper my 2008 goals, both business and personal. Then for each one I wrote down ideas on how to accomplish each goal. Then for each of those ideas I am writing down more detailed ideas on how to implement each one. I now have some things that I can work on during the holidays.

This has been a really great exercise and I encourage others to do it too. I now have action items that are small enough that I know I can accomplish them, instead of these big looming goals that seemed intangible.

Ann, you seem to know me! I do spend too much time watching tv and then complaining that nothing got done. So that is one of my small goals that will help with all the big ones, TURN OFF THE TV!!!

Sarah, TV is one of the things I'm dealing with myself. It's too easy to plunk my oversized butt down on the couch and stay there all evening. :)

OK, here's another thing that I am doing. One of my goals is to increase my sales to $4000 per month. One of the ideas I have is to improve my show format for better sales and more bookings (another goal is to increase my show schedule to 8-12 shows per month). Anyway, so now what I have done is a brainstorming exercise to list out all the things I want to cover at a show and all of my goals for a show. Now I am going to put it in an outline and spend the holidays refining it and practicing it.

I am so excited and proud of myself for getting even this far!!:D
