Grr. Thanks!

Only if you qualify within the first 90 days though, FYI.:)

More of a reason to qualify as soon as possible! I wish they had this option when I first signed up, I had to wait 5 months to get mine because of money. Which reminds me, I should be due for another year soon.

confusedSo, now I am confused...
My D and my Recruit told me that you need to sign up for a YEAR to get an additional 3 months free AFTER you qualify....Can someone clarify???

You don't HAVE to sign up for a year, but some consultants want a website before they qualify, so IF you sign up for a year subscription they just add the free 3 months to the end of that subscription.

This is what the policies says about the free time:
Effective August 1, 2007, new Consultants are eligible for a free Personal Web Site for 90 days when they qualify within their first 90 days, and their qualification date is August 1 and forward. The redemption period for the free subscription will expire 30 days from the qualification date. Consultants are reminded by Home Office when the Consultant has qualified and the subscription is available for redemption.
It doesn't say that they have to sign up for a full year, but they do have to sign up for a website and pay for some time, otherwise they forfeit the free time.

claifyAnn,
When you say that they need to sign up and 'pay for some time' does that mean they HAVE to sign-up for either 6 months or 1 year to get that additional 3 months?

I'm not Ann, but I did qualify within my 90 days. I received an email after I qualified that said I had 90 days free trial for a website. I ssigned up for the 90 days and that is all. Then during the 90 day trial I recieved an email that said I would need to sign up for a 6, month or 1 year website by such and such date or it would be terminated.
So I did not have to sign up and pay any money to use the 90 days free.
I hope that answers your question.

Thank YouThanks keri-Lyn - That answer my question.

Why didn't you continue with your PWS? (if you don't mind me asking)

Thanks, Keri-Lyn. I had heard in the past that consultants had to pay for 6 months or a year to get the 3 free months. It's good to know that wasn't true.

I think I worded it poorly. I signed up for the 90 day trial and then when I got the email saying it would expire I signed up for a year. I like my website and I am happy I had the trial to decide. I was a bit iffy on spending that much money and not knowing if I would really benefit from it.

How much does a PWS cost? For 6 months, or for a year? (I'll be signing up in June, so I don't have access to all of the answers!)

TIA

$54 for 6 months; $96 for a year. (I think.)

It sounds like it is worded poorly because this is my experience:* I said, "Website? I don't need no stinkin' web site, especially when I am trying to MAKE money, not spend it.
• I qualified in 30 days and got the "free website" e-mail. I said, "If it's for free, it's for me" and told myself it had 90 days to pay for itself.
• I was confuzled when I saw the "payment options" in the set up ... I called HQ and asked. They said I would get an e-mail notifying me that they would hit my PC debit card and if I decided I didn't want the web site they would cancel it for me without hitting the debit card, so it was indeed risk-free.
• Used the site ... it paid off BIG for a catty show I had so I decided I HAD to keep the site!
