I would love some ideas! My upline director, M. Ross, gave us some Disney cards that have the characters on them and numbers to 8 (I think they are go-fish cards). I would love to use them to MOTIVATE my team, especially with Disney around the corner! I stress "motivate" because I don't want to use them for recognition. I want the cards to represent something that they will want to work really hard for.

My hubby and I had thought about having them earn the cards (how to earn TBD), then after 6 months, whoever has the most in value (add up the cards value) will win $50 they can use towards Disney spending money, or conference, etc. I would very much like it to go back into their business, so even PC dollars. As consultants, what would you like to see? What would you work hard to earn that would be reasonable?

Hey Kelly,
I think I met you at Leadership last year -- you (and your roomies) rescued my friend and I from waiting forever at the elevator. Is that you? Are you going to Leadership?

Anyway, last year when I was very close to promoting, I adapted something from here and offered incentives for basically doing your job. It didn't come to fruition totally because my team apparently didn't want to do it, but I know if I was a consultant I would have busted my butt to get the stuff. I'll probably try it again here at some point.

I like the Disney card idea though! I'm sure you could adapt it to this, just use the cards instead of the tickets.

Thanks so much! I would have to tailor it a little, but I love the letter. It really appeals to everyone!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Disney Cards and how can they be used in direct sales?

Disney Cards are motivational tools that feature Disney characters, quotes, or themes. In direct sales, they can be used to inspire and encourage team members by reminding them of the joy and excitement associated with Disney. These cards can serve as rewards, recognition, or simply as daily motivation to keep the team engaged and enthusiastic about their goals.

How can Disney Cards help in team motivation?

Disney Cards can boost team motivation by creating a fun and positive atmosphere. They can be used to celebrate achievements, recognize hard work, or set new challenges. The whimsical nature of Disney can help lighten the mood and foster a sense of camaraderie among team members, making them feel appreciated and valued.

What are some creative ways to incorporate Disney Cards into team meetings?

During team meetings, you can incorporate Disney Cards by using them as icebreakers or discussion starters. For example, each team member can draw a card and share how the message resonates with their current goals. Additionally, you can use the cards to set themes for meetings, where each card represents a different focus area or challenge for the team to tackle together.

Can Disney Cards be used as incentives for sales performance?

Absolutely! Disney Cards can be used as incentives for achieving sales targets or milestones. You can create a rewards program where team members earn cards for reaching specific goals, such as closing a certain number of sales or recruiting new members. This not only motivates individuals but also fosters a competitive yet supportive environment within the team.

How can I create a Disney-themed recognition program using these cards?

To create a Disney-themed recognition program, start by defining the criteria for recognition, such as outstanding sales performance or teamwork. Then, design a system where team members can earn Disney Cards based on their achievements. You can host monthly recognition events where you present the cards and celebrate the accomplishments, making it a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved.
