My fave so far is the Trifle Bowl but I am thinking about purchasing the Mix N Chop

I love both of those too! I haven't made a trifle yet for my family but I made one for my meeting and for my shows and they are truly showstoppers!

Also- I am so surprised how many people actually read my signature! I change it for my own reminder and inspiration, but I love that people actually notice when it changes!

Well I have been thinking about you a lot lately and I really want to see you succeed. I hope you are doing well. We may never meet but we are Cheffers together!

Gillian,
What kind of trifles have you been making for your shows? I just got the trifle bowl and would like to put it to use.
I'm thinking about purchasing the Mix N Chop next month on the kit enhancement order
Sandy

I love the mix n chop!!!!

I'm ALL SA ALL the time!

I love the new tool turn about. The white one just didn't turn and looked grungy. Now, no matter how messy I am the black one looks clean. Also love how it spins.

I've made this trifle with great success from guests:

brownie (Duncan Hines with chocolate bits)
chocolate pudding
Heath candy bar chopped (can't taste it so have left it out)
cool whip (put on with Easy Accent Decorator for a wow effect)

One little thing I have loved is the new "core & more".....I have never been successful making melon balls, but I have done it twice now using cantaloupe - and I love the fact that I can make pretty melon balls now! I can't wait til melon is more in season (cheaper) and I can do a layered melon ball salad in the trifle bowl...how pretty will that be for my brunch shows?:)

Sorry- I just saw this post!

I made a chocolate cake in the fluted pan at home & brought it to my show. I turned it out in front of everyone to many oohs and ahhhs and cubed it with the bread knife. I had some chocolate pudding pre-made in the small batter bowl and layered that with the chocolate cake pieces. I whipped some cream and powdered sugar in a SS bowl with the balloon whisk and layered that as well. I grated a chocolate bar on the top with the microplane and it was done! So easy, cheap ingredients, and showstopping (not to mention showing a ton of products!

Trifle, SA dots, TTA, New colors and Mix and chop and knife set. Ok everything!

I LOVE the mix N chop!! a must have for sure but my other two favs are the tool turn about, and the trifle bowl. The bowl is great and if you ever have to take a dish somewhere I always take a trifle they are soooo easy but they look great!!

The Mix N Chop! I tell everyone about it and how it's one of those "Why didn't anyone ever think of this before?" tools! AND I've sold a lot of them!

oh here is the trifle recipe that I have the most requests for:

Strawberry Almond Cheesecake:

1 pound cake
2 packages cheesecake pudding and pie filling
cool whip
2 quarts strawberries
sugar
almod extract

slice the strawberries and spinkle with sugar and about 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract. Then layer pond cake, strawberries, cheesecake, cool whip, and then repeat.
It is really good after it sits for a half an hour or so. The strawberry juices soak into the pound cake and it is so YUMMIE!!
you can also sub. angel food cake for the pound cake

heather

hey Debi I say the same thing about the mix N chop!!! at my shows!!

I like that the new TTA is sturdier but I think the black collects dust

I Love them all but their wasn't a choice on their for all of them....... I love showing people the trifel bowl and their eyes popping out of their head when it comes apart.....

I like the giant stockpot!

I voted for the mix-n-chop, but my other favs are the trifle bowl and the new TTA. I just can't believe how smoothly it spins even stuffed with tons of tools!

TrifleI have always wanted a PC trifle bowl. I finally got what I wanted. I love trifles and now I have one to sell and show off everywhere I get to bring a dessert. The ooohs and ahhhhs are so encouraging.
I know lots of ladies who love trifles and the lid and the ability to remove the pedestal is amazing. I have already sold quite a few of these.

Debbie :D

As I sit here eating left over choc/mocha trifle from my B-day. Yum!!I like the new dots SA. I love the lrg round bowl. :)

Gee, how do I choose???? I can't just pick one new product. I love them all. And I can't wait to get the mid-season products too. But I guess if I have to choose I would say.....the trifle bowl.

I am really looking forward to the mid-season products - I made the Lime Berry Mousse Trifle at my show last night and the berry spinner would have been great to show off with that - I am also looking forward to lower berry prices

OK you have all sold me -- I need to get a Trifle bowl!!

I have the mix and mash but haven't used it yet -- what makes it so special?

I am someone who likes my ground beef, etc. to be very finely chopped up...this makes it super easy and quick, since there are so many "blades" at the end of it. Seems to me like it almost cooks quicker, too, since you are chopping it up into smaller pieces.

I have also heard people using it to make smashed potatoes...as an extra use for it!

My trifle bowl. Here's my fav recipe. So yummy & so easy! :)

1 angel food cake (I use the store bought one for the easy factor & show they can make a fancy dessert with no trouble!)
2 boxes cheesecake pudding mix
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple (with juice, don't drain)
1 tub cool whip
1 t. almond extract
fresh berries

Cube the cake into one inch pieces.
Mix the pudding mix, pineapple, extract together. Fold in the cool whip.
Slice the strawberries.

Layer cake, pudding/cool whip mixture, berries. Repeat. :)

YUM!!

YUM!!

I am not a huge fan of cheesecake anything..... but I was thinking of doing the same thing, and instead of using pudding, use a box of strawberry or raspberry jello (dissolved in 1/3 cup boiling water), folded in to a tub of cool whip....and using that around the angel food cake! MMMM....
