Would anyone have any BBQ recipes to share that would be suitable for a BBQ patio show? Any that can be made ON the BBQ would be appreciated.

THANK YOU!

Thrill to GrillI had a ton of luck last summer making the Grilled Chicken Caprese from the Great Grilling Recipe cards. It's super simple and yummy, impressive for quick summer meal that they will definately use again. I also made the Grilled Spiced Bananas from the same recipe card collection. I advertised it by describing it as Bananas Fosters on the Grill. They booked just because I said Bananas Fosters! They were really impressed to see dessert on the grill. The recipe calls for wrapping each in foil, but I saved time by splitting the peel lengthwise and adding the sauce inside, then grilling right in the peel. Be sure to slice the fruit into disks before popping it onto a plate with ice cream. The first show I made this at, I put the big long, slimy banana on each plate with ice cream for them to slice themselves and everyone couldn't help giggling because it looked so pornographic.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some easy BBQ recipes for a patio party?

Some easy BBQ recipes for a patio party include grilled chicken skewers, BBQ ribs, vegetable kebabs, and burgers. You can also prepare sides like coleslaw, corn on the cob, and potato salad to complement your main dishes.

How can I ensure my BBQ meat is tender and flavorful?

To ensure your BBQ meat is tender and flavorful, marinate it for a few hours or overnight before grilling. Use a dry rub or a marinade with acidic ingredients like vinegar or citrus juice to enhance flavor and tenderness. Cooking at the right temperature and allowing the meat to rest after grilling will also help maintain juiciness.

What are some tips for grilling vegetables?

When grilling vegetables, cut them into uniform sizes for even cooking. Use a grill basket or skewers to prevent smaller pieces from falling through the grates. Brush them lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper before grilling. Cook over medium heat until they are tender and have nice grill marks.

How can I set up my patio for a successful BBQ party?

To set up your patio for a successful BBQ party, create a comfortable seating area with enough space for guests to mingle. Set up a designated food and drink station, and consider using outdoor lighting for ambiance. Keep your grilling area clean and organized, and have plenty of napkins, utensils, and condiments readily available.

What are some drink pairing ideas for BBQ dishes?

For BBQ dishes, consider pairing with refreshing drinks like iced tea, lemonade, or fruit-infused water. Beer, especially lighter ales or lagers, complements grilled meats well. For a non-alcoholic option, try sparkling water with a splash of fruit juice for a festive touch.
