Are there any guidelines/rules as to what our email address contains? Can we use Pampered Chef as part of the email address?

Check out the policy and procedures on Consultant's Corner. It tells you what you can and cannot do on this subject.

I did see the section on the web addresses but I didn't see anywhere that it specifically addressed email.

I just read it yesterday as a matter of fact. Let me look at it again and tell you what page it is on.

Look on page 19: I copied it below......

Except as otherwise provided in these policies, it is
inappropriate to use The Pampered Chef® corporate name,
the tagline, any trademark used by the Company or any
derivation of such, for instance, “pamper,” “pampered,”
“chef,” “discover,” “in you,” etc. as part of an e-mail address
or domain name.

ok - I was looking at an old printout - sorry Harriet and thanks a ton!

No problem. I saw the new date on Consultant's Corner so I downloaded it and read it over. I save these and replace them when they change so I have it available. Lots of information.

As far as the e-mail address is concerned that is news to me. I had to change my website name a few years ago but never knew about the e-mail too. Oh well.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is it important to have a professional email address for my Pampered Chef business?

A professional email address helps establish credibility and trust with your customers. It reflects your brand and makes communication more formal and reliable. Using a business email also helps keep your personal and professional communications separate.

What should I include in my professional email address?

Your professional email address should ideally include your name or your business name, along with a domain that reflects your brand. For example, using [email protected] is more professional than using a generic email service provider. This helps in brand recognition and makes it easier for clients to remember your contact information.

Are there any specific email providers recommended for creating a professional email address?

Popular email providers for professional email addresses include Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Zoho Mail. These services offer custom domain options, enhanced security features, and tools that can help manage your business communications effectively.

What are some guidelines for creating a professional email address?

When creating a professional email address, keep it simple and straightforward. Avoid using nicknames or numbers unless necessary. Aim for clarity, such as using your full name or a combination of your name and business name. Additionally, ensure that the email is easy to spell and pronounce to avoid confusion.

How can I maintain professionalism in my email communications?

To maintain professionalism, always use a polite and respectful tone in your emails. Be clear and concise in your messages, and proofread for spelling and grammar errors before sending. Additionally, use a professional signature that includes your name, title, and contact information to enhance your credibility.
