Consultant Termination: Last Show in Nov. to May?

In summary, the consultant's contract will end in November and will not be renewed, resulting in their last show being in May. There will be a transition period for the project and unfortunately, the consultant will not be able to stay until the end of the project. The possibility of severance or compensation will be discussed in a private meeting based on the terms of their contract.

If I have a consultant who had her last show in Nov. and still has not had a show by May, will she terminate at that point? Or is it from April 1st, and 6 months after the start of this new plan she would terminate??? TIA!

I would love to know this as well.

So she went inactive Jan 1st right? As of April 1st, everyone who is inactive will start all over again under the new system and then have 6 months from that point.

Check out the Q&A on CC, they answer this question and others.

Thanks soo much!

Hi there! Thank you for reaching out. According to the Pampered Chef consultant agreement, consultants who have not had a show in six consecutive months will be automatically terminated. This termination is based on the six-month period starting from the date of their last show, not from April 1st. If your consultant had her last show in November, she would be at risk of termination in May if she does not have a show before then. I hope this helps clarify any confusion. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you!

1. What is the reason for the consultant termination?

The consultant's contract is ending in November and the decision has been made not to renew it, resulting in the last show being in May.

2. Will the consultant be offered a new contract after their termination?

No, the decision has been made not to renew the consultant's contract.

3. How will the consultant's termination affect the project they were working on?

The consultant's termination may result in a transition period where another consultant or team member will take over their responsibilities and ensure the project continues smoothly.

4. Is there any possibility for the consultant to stay on until the end of the project?

Unfortunately, due to various reasons, the decision has been made for the consultant's contract to end in November and the last show to be in May.

5. Will the consultant receive any severance or compensation for their termination?

Any severance or compensation will depend on the terms of the consultant's contract and will be discussed with them in a private meeting.
