I've been AWOL for a bit with my parents...question:

I've been getting requests to have various folks here add me to their buddy list. OF COURSE I WILL!!! But, is there something special/advantage of having a buddy list? Just curious and honored...

You can see who on your list is online. On the front page, your friends will have a plus (+) next to their name in the active users list. You can also go to Quick Links > contacts and friends to get a pop-up window with just your contacts. From that window, you can select them and send a PM easily.

go to your contacts under UserCP and type in their name and then send the friend request (make sure you mark the friend thing) that way they will be able to accept you!!

You can also click on someone's name within a thread and click on "view public profile" then over to the right, under "Friends", click on "befriend...".
