I give up. In P3, is there a way to change a fundraiser to a cooking show?

There wasn't when P3 first came out, but it can now! Open the show and go to the summary tab. Click the "change show type" next to the show type (imagine that!).

In my other shows, on the summary page, there is "Edit Show Type", but not in my fundraiser show.

OK- let me take a look. I was at work, and don't have access to P3 there.

hmmm... it looks like fundraisers are the only show type that cannot be changed. Sorry to say, but I think you're out of luck.

is there a way to sort contacts by state?Hi--I am getting ready to run labels for a holiday open house, and I would like to invite all of my in-state contacts (I have lots of out of state folks from catalog shows). Is there a way to do this? I hate the idea of having to go through them by hand and deselect any out of state people. Thanks for the help!

I think you can click "select none", then select your state. That was an option in PP - I haven't played with P3 enough to check that the same functionality is there.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean to change a fundraiser to a cooking show?

Changing a fundraiser to a cooking show means transitioning an event that was initially planned to raise money for a cause into a cooking demonstration where participants can learn new recipes and purchase Pampered Chef products. This allows for a more interactive experience while still supporting the fundraising goal.

Why would someone want to change a fundraiser to a cooking show?

People may choose to change a fundraiser to a cooking show to enhance engagement and participation. Cooking shows provide a fun, social atmosphere where attendees can enjoy food, learn cooking tips, and have the opportunity to purchase products, potentially increasing overall sales and donations for the cause.

How do I communicate the change to participants?

It's important to communicate the change clearly and positively to all participants. You can send out an email or create a social media post explaining the new format, highlighting the benefits of attending a cooking show, and reassuring them that the fundraising aspect will still be honored.

Will the fundraising goals still be met with a cooking show?

Yes, fundraising goals can still be met during a cooking show. You can set a percentage of sales from the event to go towards the fundraising cause, and encourage attendees to invite friends and family to maximize attendance and sales, thus supporting the original fundraising goal.

What if participants prefer the original fundraiser format?

If participants prefer the original fundraiser format, it’s essential to listen to their feedback and address their concerns. You can offer a hybrid approach, where part of the event includes fundraising activities alongside the cooking demonstration, ensuring that both preferences are accommodated.
