I've heard people complain about their shows held up due to a credit card.

I have at least one show ... probably 2 or 3, that will be closing the last days of Sell-A-Thon.

If a show is held up ... does it mess up our SAT sales?

HO gives you a timeline/deadline date to resolve the issue so it will still count towards mid month/end of the month commission. I assume they will do the same for SAT.

No, it will not mess up Sell a Thon. As Jessica stated, you are given a deadline to resolve the problem and it will still count for you.

Good question--I hadn't really thought about that, and haven't had it happen (yet), but I'm sure this info will save me a panic attack in the future!

DITTO! I totally agree.

I've only had one show that had a credit card issue. I got notice from HO asking me how I'd like to handle it. I told them I'd resolve the money thing with the guest and to release the show. It was resolved within 24 hours so I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure for guests you are just meeting to have their full contact information and hope for the best. Chances are you won't have any cc problems.

They give you a deadline like mentioned above to solve it by (I can look at my latest email to see how far out hte dealine was). But I have been a consultant for over a year and a half and have only had a few issues with this. I wouldn't worry about it until it happens. Not to say this will happen but I wouldn't be so worried about cc, checks are worse because the money is coming out of your account.

Usually, shows have to be resolved by the 5th or so to count for the previous month.
