need to get back on the call wagon. I only did host coaching last night, and those were while I was driving to my cluster meeting, which by the way was one of the best meetings my director has ever had!

I did my 3-2-1 today.

1 guest from a show I did on Thursday checked the "maybe" box. She's getting ready to move and cast host right now but would like to "someday." I'm trying to get her to do a catty show for now since she expressed interest in the 5 piece cookware. We'll see....

I collected an order for a show I'm doing. (48 more pan-o-rama points for me!)

I spoke with a host that was SUPOSSED to do a show on the 18th, it got moved to the 27th. (at least it's still this month).

I made a few other calls that aren't anything yet.

BTW, where's everyone been lately???? I'm trying to hold you accountable!!!

DO YOUR 3-2-1!!!

I know, I know... I haven't been posting... life's been crazy

I started grad school this week and had a show last Thursday, Sunday and one on this Thursday. I did mention PC to 2 of my new classmates and they were both really excited to hear that I did PC (I didn't go any further yet as we just met and I have to be in class with them for 2 years...). I am picking up 2-3 more orders from my mystery host on Thursday, closing my Sunday show on Friday, I also signed up to work the chocolate extravaganza booth in November for a 3 hours shift in November (this year they are moving it to the convention center -- yippee! WAAAY more space!). I also have been working my normal hours during all of this, so needless to say things have been crazy for me. I am now thinking I am crazy to work 20 hours a week, take a full load at grad school and have 2 PC shows a week. It also doesn't help that my sleep schedule is still off, so I have been out of it. So that's why I haven't been on here lately. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to come on with everything, but will try to stop by twice a week. Way to go Ellen and Amy! Keep it up!

last night I did new consultant training so that took my calling time, but I was able to squeeze in a call to a potential host,no date yet, but we'll see. Oh, and on a downside my show for Sunday called trying to cancel (she left a message on my cell). I'll get with her today to see what's going on. It was actually a show swap, so if she cancels I guess I can free up her day that I had set aside to do her show to do PC! Oh, and I also talked to another potential recruit, who asked me to send her some more info on the biz. I would just meet with her, but she's out of state so this is the only way. Keep your fingers crossed!

Hey all! I had a show last night and that's where I did my 3-2-1. Well, I did the 3 and 1/2 of the 2. No takers for the 1, but I talked about throughout the show because I only took new kit products.

I squeezed in a few calls before my Monday night team meeting. They resulted in 1 scheduled show and 1 order.Tuesday I made calls. Built some customer relations.

Way to go Amy! Keep us posted!:)

I was supposed to close two shows today. Both need to wait till tomorrow now! I have about $1500 in sales so far this month, but not 1 cent submitted!

Made my calls this evening. Talked with several people. Results were an order and I answered several questions for a couple of clients. Feels like a successful evening.

I've been on vacation (got back late Monday evening)- and then had to jump right into a show when I got back.....so tonight was the first chance I had to make calls.......WOW!
Booked 2 fundraisers for Girl Scouts in Oct.! My contact has several troupes of varying ages, and she says its about 40 families involved - so she wanted to break it into 2 shows, and offer 2 different times - so she took 2 of my 3 remaining dates for Oct!!! A Thursday and a Saturday! I now have 12 shows for Oct!!! I also called a newlywed past host - she married a young man from my church, and we went to the wedding, and of course gifted them w/ a PC certificate. I received a thank-you note in the mail yesterday, and she had added a P.S. to call her to book a show in their new house! ALSO! I got an email from a friend of a past host - she wanted to book a fundraiser for Nov. for the W. Michigan Downs Syndrome Assoc.  So I called her and got it on the books for Nov 10th.And finally, I got a phone call from the sister of a wonderful repeat hostess - inviting me to her sisters surprise 40th birthday party! What an incredible blessing it is to have a job where I can make so many wonderful friends - and where my clients don't just think of me as the PC lady - they also consider me a friend! You know, I have been marveling, and thanking God on an almost minute by minute basis for the way my business has just boomed the past few months.......I can only think that it isn't me - it is God's hand of blessing. My director always says "When you do the right things, at the right time, and for the right reasons, God will bless that." I think I am finally seeing the fruit of that in my business.

Becky that is sooo wonderful! I love how you give all the glory to God! I have a lot of "potential" hosts that need me to call back soon. It's frustrating when it's not "on my calendar" but I know it'll work out better on God's timing. (that doesn't mean I wont still make calls though! :0) )

Oh, Becky I am so glad that I took the time to read your post before I typed mine in! What an inspiration!!

This has been "one of those days". Well actually it was going pretty good. Attempted to do some host coaching tonight, but couldn't reach them. But I did book 2 more shows -both for November, but that is great for me! But then on one last attempt at another host, she totally went off on me about having to buy the food for the recipe! She basically said, "I'm not buying anything, I don't even care about the stupid thing" and hung up. Here's the best part, she is someone that I actually thought that I had a budding friendship with. She was to be co-hosting this with her MIL, and she too has yet to return any of my calls. The bright spot of this whole situation? I never thought that the show would actually go thru, so I double booked it with another on a Saturday as my late show. So, I'll be home early to spend the evening with my family afterall. God is good!

Hope you all had nicer contacts!

oh, another good thing........my host from last Saturday has collected almost an additional $250 in orders, and she still has a few that I don't know about, plus her own order. So, what looked bleak when I left on Saturday is now turning into a decent show afterall!

I did get a date for a fundraiser in December. Very glad to have a December show. I didn't make many contacts today. Maybe tomorrow.

I have only talked to 2 today. I haven't been able to do as much as I want but at least I have a booking for Oct.

Amy, that is wonderful! and goes to show that host coaching doesn't stop at the show! Great Job!

Okay, did my 3-2-1 today!

1 More catalog show for SEPTEMBER!!! (she wants the 5-piece cookware!)

Closed a catty show.

Spoke to two of my hosts of party's I'm trying to close. Got another order from one of them.

Made my calls. Scheduled two new shows! Another successful evening. :)

You know reading this particular thread is really encouraging!! :) :) We really ought to give ourselves a pat on the back and say well done. All of you deserve a   !! Keep up the good work. I am all for you!!!! :) :)

well I've done an in person host coaching today, I dropped the packet off at her office (which I used to work there too). So I was able to talk to several other employees about PC, one in particular could be an awesome lead into the growing hispanic market in my area!!;)
Did a phone host coaching which went very well, she has 10 confirmed with a another 5 "highly likely"
And have another call to a potential recruit who is hopefully getting closer......

Oh, I also did a small training again tonight (PP+) for one of my new recruits. Seems like I've been very busy, but not alot of "real" results. But it pays off later, right?

And btw, I LOVE this thread and site, it keeps me focused on getting calls/contacts in!

I have a Sept. catalog that is flopping, but she gave me a name of someone who wants an October show. I called the person and we scheduled an October 29th show. I really hope the catalog gets at least $150 so she can get the booking bonus.

I was busy today - talked to 2 hosts who need to close out their shows - had a show this afternoon and talked to my host for tomorrow - she's got 16 confirmed guests and is so excited for her show - can't wait! I'm over 1500 in panorama points right now - yea!!

I had a show tonight, which was okay... 4 guests cancelled today, so there were 4 people at the show. She had 3 outside orders already and has another 4-5 to collect. Hoping to be over $400, could get to $500, she liked the jump that that next level makes. and no bookings period. not even a maybe later. :( The show was still really run, and I did a garnishing show, which I think I will totally do again! On the down side, all my commission was spent before I got home (an hour drive), as I got a speeding ticket and almost got arrested, as I used to have an ID with my middle name, and now my license only has my first name, so somehow the system pulled me up saying I didn't have a license. So it took like 15 minutes for the cop to figure everything out. I was going 40 in a 30, and I totally didn't think the limit was 30 as I was on a bare road in the middle of nowhere (this host was crazy far away!). So needless to say, that sucked. and to top it off my dad had surgery this morning (he's okay) and I went strait from 1 job to this PC show. After I got the ticket I just sobbed. I am so stressed out with this schedule and really want to do 2 shows a week, but just am not sure if I can handle it. To make it even worse, I had a ticket 5 months ago when I was going through a big depression (1st ticket in 7 years!) and was having a break down, so to the cop it looks like I am this huge speeder and I totally am not. I am just emotionally a wreck right now and totally stressed out. Do I say any of this to the cop, nope I just smile and accept the ticket and apologize. Even though, I think this was the straw that just broke the camel's back and now realize that I need my meds adjusted and I can't handle everything. Sorry to vent to y'all, but I didn't know who do turn to without completely breaking down again at this time of night. On the up side, I just completed my 4th show of the month -- and this is the first time I have done more than 3 shows in a month! and I still have 2 shows to go!

All I can say is :yuck: :yuck: :yuck: !!!

I'm so sorry! That stinks! <<<<<<<<hugs>>>>>>>>

Thanks Ellen... I needed that more than you can know! You are the best late night buddy a girl could ask for!

Well, I didn't do very well on calls today - as in I didn't make not a single one for bookings, BUT I did sign another consultant today!! I think that is productive for my biz! I also closed my show from Saturday. She was so happy with all the FREE stuff she got, and she also got the 5pc SS.
I did have a cancellation for one of my shows tomorrow, which I was totally expecting - even when she booked it I was skeptical, so I double booked the date.
My other host for tomorrow feels that she has 10 definite, with a possibility of 15. So, I'm expecting 5, possibly 7. But I think she is also interested in the biz, so we'll have to see!
Hope you guys had a great day, and are out working shows!!

That's great Amy! You're getting on that "1" part of the 3-2-1! Way to go!

The only thing I did today was close a show that should've closed on Monday. (It was my DD'd birthday today so I was a little busy.)
