raebates said:I got a call from the host of the show benefiting the fire victim. When I left on Thursday, sales were just over $400.00. She was calling to change the close date from Tuesday to Wednesday. Then, she told me that sales are just over $600 right now! I'm really excited for her. As I mentioned before (on another thread, I think), the majority of the sales came from at-risk young women, most of whom gave $1 to $10.
That made my day. It isn't the highest show total--not even close. It's very inspirational, though. That's one of the things I love about my job. PC has brought me into contact with some wonderful people.

Got to buckle down this evening and do some serious host coaching calls, and try to get the last two shows booked for October!
That's amazing! Great job. What are you doing? I'm hoping to get some recruit leads as I do my shows in September. I only had two actual cooking shows in August. I have at least 5 in September. I know that will help immensley. Share your tips.amy07 said:not too good on the calls yesterday, kept getting machines, but I did sign another recruit!! YAYYY! That was #3 in 7 days!!!

I have the goal to hit at least $2500 in sales this month, I have $600 submitted already and counting tomorrow 5 more shows this month and a possible catalog show... so I'm hoping to add 2 more ribbons that I don't have to my wall (I've told my director I want to have 1 of each ribbon by the end of the year... I need the $2500 and $4000 level ribbons and the 2,3 and 4 thousand dollar month ribbons).
I'm looking forward to hearing how your show goes tomorrow! People are loving the new stuff, especially the cookbook with the guest special this month! Good luck! and way to go everyone else! Everytime I click new posts and see this thread it always reminds me that I need to make my contacts!
GourmetGirl said:My director gives us ribbons for various sales/personal acheivements (beating self or her, show sales, having a high show/average/month of the cluster, sales levels and month sales)... on some thread a few weeks ago I posted pictures of my office and in one of them you can see my wall of ribbons that surround my college diploma. I gave the 5 ribbons I am missing a place, so now I need to fill them in for my wall to be complete (I am a big collection person, if I start a collection, doggonit, I will finish it)
