I had a show last night. It was the first since I started sending the invites myself. She originally expected 12, yesterday morning it increased to 18. Ended up with 14 in attendance (about 9-10 orders plus 2 outside). Ended up with 3 February catalog shows.

A guest from Monday's show (the host's sister) called with her order, and said that she has a $300 order from a friend, so she wants to turn it into a catty show for herself! So, she is doing a Feb catty so that her sister can get the 2 items at 60%. Double Yay for double points!!!!!

WOW!!!! how awesome!

Just finished my CCCs for the evening. I wound up with 7 contacts. One of them has signed as a consultant. (She didn't sign with me, she lives in Illinois. I told her about this site, though, and we talked about the possibility of her attending NC.) I directed 1 to my website. I have two possible orders. I'll be checking back with them soon. Not bad for an evening's work. :)

Well no contacts for me today....but there's still time.

Since the site was down, I do have a potential fundraiser! (I've never done one yet in the 1 1/2 years I've been a consultant)

I also got in touch with another potential host that will probably book in February.

I won't be making any contacts this evening (my normal phone time). I am just too darn tired!!! I will make a few calls tomorrow to make up for it!

I'm working on getting invitations out for 3 shows tonight! Tomorrow, I will make ton of phone calls!

Will you call potential hosts or are you making customer care calls or are you calling hosts? I don't like to call on Saturday's, but then again I don't ever like calling.

Some of each! I figure more people will be home Saturday morning than Friday night. I have 3-4 booking calls I really need to make - people who I know want shows, I just need to get them on the calendar, and host coaching calls, and a couple customer service issues I need to take care of. Then, I'll be at Autorama late afternoon and early evening - so I'll wear something PC, and carry info with me!

I consider "3-2-1 every day" to mean weekdays. I use Saturday as a make-up day or for host coaching if I've had difficulty reaching someone. That's another thing I love about PC. I make a lot of my own rules. :chef:

LOL! That would be one of my secondary "whys"!

I see that the check boxes for 3-2-1 in our planner is only for M-F as well! I do try to make Saturday calls, and it usually is a "make-up day" for me too!

Here are my contacts for today:

1. The lady behind the counter at the post office. She saw my PC stickers on my host kit labels. She loves PC. I gave her a mini catty, and let her know my info is the back, and of course that I would see her again! (I am always at the post office).

2., 3 and4. Followed up on a couple of leads from a street festival and holiday market held in the fall. One wants to check her calendar and asked me to call back next Saturday. The other one is not interested. And another one wants to check with her friends and family to see if she will have enough interested guests for a show.

Left a few messages too. And, I also ran into a MIA host (1/24). The number she had given me had been disconnected. I met this host at Wal-Mart, so I decided to go back there today (I needed a few things, too) and see if she was working today, and sure enough, there she was. I think she kind of look stunned to see me (she did not smile), but she said we were still on for the 24th, and she had mailed her invites out. She gave me a new phone number, and I told her I would call her this evening, she said she would be home after 6pm. Well, guess what? I dial the number, and get a message that the number is not in service, check the number and dial again!!!!!!!  :grumpy: UGH!!!! Just tell me you don't want to do the show lady!!!!! I will send an e-mail, and a possible note in the mail, but then it is bless and release!!!!

I am slacking so bad on my calls! I REALLY need to step it up and get back on my game! I did have an EXCELLANT host coaching call today. It's for a show that's not till Feb 9th, but now she is really excited about her show.

I have a birthday party to go to tonight so I hope to get a few contacts in there.

I'm with you Ellen, I have been slacking big time too! I think that I am going to take some time tomorrow and try to catch up from not making any calls last week. I definitely need more shows during double points time!

We can do it Sarah! That's what this thread is all about. We have to encourage and hold eachother accountable!

Ellen and Sarah, step away from the computer, and GET ON THAT PHONE!!!! :D :D You can do it. Just think, Double Points! You are not going to reach your goals if you don't pick up that phone. ;) ;)

I have been having a really hard time making calls. I have been dealing with a sick child for 4 days. I am so stressed and tired!!!

Did take him to the doc friday and she told me to take him straight to the ER!!! He has horrible tonsilitis and a sinus infection. Doc thought there was an abcess on 1 tonsil. Everything worked out OK. They did not have to do anything invasive (DS is not quite 3) He is on meds now but I have to force them or sneak into some strawberry milk. He still feels like crud and I feel like my whole house is covered in Sn*t!!! IK IK IK!!!!!

I guess it's the bebefit of a business like this. I can take a break to care for my family and not worry about missing work.

well gotta go do laundry.... I will work on getting a few calls in durring nap time.

Hang in all! You are all doing great!!!

back from Leadership late last night. Made my 3 contacts today. 2 at a new church we've started attending. Made me feel funny about being at church, but they both approached me (saw my jacket, new one with logo on bottom. I fogot it was there). They want catalogs and will be placing orders! Also will be setting up an interview with our waitress from Pizza Hut. Think we'll me for coffee in the morning or Tuesday, need to call her tonight when she gets off work!
I'm working for TPC recruiting and Mexico!!

Had two contacts yesterday and one today. Garnered two possible orders (wanted to see a catalog and a stoneware price list).

Paulette, I hope your little one is doing better!

Ellen, did you get on the phone today?

I was able to make some calls while the boys were down for their nap. That is after I procrastinated by cleaning out the fridge! It was good though because I left two messages and booked one show...during double points time!:sing:

So not many calls but at least another show. It's definitely dinner time right now, so maybe in a little bit I will try another couple of calls.

Recruit that host!!! This is my favorite (& MOST successful) recruiting opportunity!!! This is what I say, "Suzie, you already have 3 bookings from your show. You only need 1 more to fulfill your committment to PC, and it could even be your own catalog show with outside orders from your show today! So, are your ready to sign up? :D

already have made my contacts today as my son has a scout meeting tonight. 2 possible recruit calls (1 was a flat out NO, don't ask again:o  ), and tried for 1 booking (she wants to check around first, trying to get her to do a weekday brunch show).
Also did some host coaching. Hopefully I'll be able to get some more calls in later, but just in case, I'm covered!;)

Amy, I am so in awe of you and how you work your business!

Didn't make it on to report yesterday but I made a bunch of calls. Only got through to about 5 people though. Nothing major to report. I did get an order for the Vanilla Deep Dish Baker though.

So far 2 contacts today. One wants to do a show in March or April (but not ready to set a date) and the other wants to order a piece of Stoneware. Still have more calls to make today though so I will report back later.

***blushing:blushing: ***gee, thanks! But honestly, I do not do anything that the rest of you guys aren't doing too! We've all made the commitment to do the calls. And reporting it here keeps me honest to myself! Now, if only I could do the same with my food journal:yuck: :yuck:

LOL! A bunch of us have started our own journals on the Living Female Website to keep eachother accountable for the food thing! It has helped a bit.

contacts made but nothing great to report other than one said I could add her to my email list. I'm also starting to get a tough skin to the "no's". I can't wait until Thursday to get back in show mode and hopefully get some more bookings. Right now it seems like I've been in a dry spell, but I guess actually with the new year, I'm just really starting again. Also left quite a few messages, but you guys know that that is just to make me feel better and that they probably will never call back! I also did some host coaching. And I did connect with a team member who is thinking about doing a little more with her biz :sing: :sing:

Monday was my monthly cluster meeting, during my normal phone hours. I think I may have gotten 1 contact in during the day.

Tonight, my hubby went out during my phone call period, and my DD (2 yrs) and DS (4 1/2) decided to raise h@%! and make phone calls next to impossible!!!!!!! But, I did manage to make a couple contacts; 1 person is no longer interested in booking, but was looking for the grapefruit knife. I told her I will send her a mini-catty and follow up with her closer to March. Another person was busy and told me she would call me back. (Yeah, right!) Left another message or two, and left a few messages for some hosts. My third contact earlier today, following up on a holiday market lead interested in ordering. She was not ready to order yet, but wanted to me keep in touch and call back again.

I would love to have more time, to make a dent in my customer care calls. I need to get in the habit of making my list the night before, that way I can make calls through out the day............permitting the children cooperate.

I hear ya Brenda! Today was the first day of weening DS20months from the bottle so I didn't get any calls in! He was such a pain for me during the day and then after his nap! I went to Bunko (planned that good didn't I?:D ) tonight and he was super easy for DH! Oh well. Hope he sleeps through the night tonight and then they are off to Grandma's for the day tomorrow. I have a bookkeeping client coming over and then a dentist appt at 3pm, so hopefully I can get some calls done in between all that. DH goes to pick them up after work and his mom usually makes them all dinner, so they don't get home until after 7pm. I am very excited!!

~Got an order for a rectangle baker
~Got an order for some Italian Seasoning
~Spoke to a friend that will most likely book in March or April but didn't want to set a date yet
~Gave my website address to another person that wanted to see a catalog. I didn't have one on me. I know this person so I can follow up with her.

I need to get my but in gear again!!!!!!!! I have had two shows this month!!! I need to two more and I will be happy!!
