Sell the MeetingI firmly believe we should be selling the meeting to our consultants- just like we sell the idea of hosting a show to our hosts.
Peak their interest with an email flyer about the meeting- maybe leave something a mystery. Let them know why they won't want to miss it.
If you have a small group call each and get them excited about coming. If you have a large group that meets do a raffle each time for a great product etc. You can sell raffle tickets to cover your cost.

I just had a manicure and found out never moisturize your nails and then polish them without cleaning off the lotion first. Even if you use a base coat the polish won't stick well.

I have noticed that before. I guess the oil in the lotion keeps it from sticking.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some effective incentives to motivate consultants in direct sales?

Effective incentives can include bonuses for reaching sales milestones, exclusive product launches, recognition programs, and travel rewards. Offering tiered incentives can also encourage consultants to strive for higher sales levels, making them feel valued and motivated to perform.

How can I communicate the value of attending meetings to my consultants?

Communicate the value by highlighting the benefits of networking, learning new sales techniques, and gaining insights into product knowledge. Share success stories from previous meetings and emphasize how these gatherings can lead to increased sales and personal growth.

What types of meetings should I organize to keep consultants engaged?

Consider organizing a mix of training sessions, product demonstrations, motivational talks, and team-building activities. Incorporating fun elements like contests or themed events can also keep consultants engaged and excited about participating.

How can I measure the success of my incentive programs?

You can measure the success of incentive programs by tracking sales performance before and after the implementation of the incentives. Additionally, gather feedback from consultants about their experiences and use metrics such as attendance rates at meetings and engagement levels during events to assess effectiveness.

What role does recognition play in boosting consultant morale?

Recognition plays a crucial role in boosting morale as it acknowledges the hard work and achievements of consultants. Celebrating successes, whether big or small, fosters a positive environment and encourages others to strive for similar recognition, ultimately leading to increased motivation and productivity.
