I'm new, my 30 days are up tomorrow and I've had 4 shows. Yay me! I've gotten a number of bookings, but they are all for Aug/Sept! One lady is a caterer and has like 18 weddings this summer so Sept is best for her, another lady is doing a reno on her kitchen and has a family reunion she's planning so Sept is better for her too. My sis in law is planning on having one in August, as is one of my best friends. I have one more booking in June and one for July but that is it so far.

How can I boost bookings? My director is the only person who really "works it" in this area and it seems like MANY of the people I know had already booked with her or just had a party through her, so I'm out of luck with them for awhile (though many of them are willing to book with me later on).

I need some creative ideas! The baby hasn't been sleeping great lately and my creative brain is sleeping. :D

I know you said that most of the people you know have booked with your director, but have you done your list of 100? I'd be willing to bet that there are people on that list you haven't asked yet, and who don't know your director.

Make sure everyone knows you're now a consultant and looking for shows. Usually I don't recommend a "can you help me out" approach to bookings, but newbies are a different story. Call in those old favors. Soon you'll have a great customer base that ranges far beyond your friends and family.

Call everyone you know! Tell them that you are selling pampered chef and we have some great hostess specials the next few months on top of the free products they will earn! Talk it up at your shows too!!

Have you're own Grandopening, invite everyone you know, inc. neighbors, put out flyers that you're a new consutlant in town, go to businesses drop off cattys or food to sample someone called it pampering businesses.
Here's a list of 118 booking ideas: Hope this helps!

I like some of those ideas. I did have a grand opening show and invited a ton of people and only 5 showed up, one being my mom. :( A bunch of the people I know work with my director and they just go round and round the loop on parties with her. And it's a really small area, so she has sold to pretty much everyone. :)

I have one booking that's with a girl I don't know (I advertised at my yard sale and will advertise again next weekend at my next one) and hoping that will lead to more bookings outside my "circle". I also have a show booked with my Mary Kay lady, which will be another group of people outside my "circle". And I have one lead with a girl that sells another direct sales product.

Have you talked to the cateerer about passing your info along to the couples getting married.. maybe a few wedding registry flyers or wedding shower flyers. That is a way to get your name out there... promote the sweepstakes, who doesnt want to win something! if you've qualified you can have registries now! Good luck

Have you tried posting something at a local business you do business at? I posted a flyer at my chiropractor's office!

chltnrenee

The girls seem to be on my page..I was thinking maybe move over a town... here where I live, there are about 5 towns w/in 15 minutes...

Also, all fire houses!!! :D Those guys love to eat & cook!

All your dr.s (dentist, gen pract., eye, pediatric) you get the idea....

Put a sticker on your car... it worked for me.... Merrill has an expensive one, or you can make your own at a local sign store...

Good Luck! this is the place to get great ideas!
