I have a question. I know that if you do rubs or some other product like that you can just add it to the order when the guest holds her own show. But what about the idea someone had about prep bowls filled with candy? How do you entice them with something not in the catalog? Do you bring it as a sample and tell them they get it when they hold their show, and how do you do that without coming across as rude? Or do you give them the bowl when they book the show and write it off if the show never happens?

Getting back into the business and am looking for some good ways to get bookings, I really struggled with that before.

If someone has an idea for a pre-filled bowl of candy, you can offer it as a bonus for booking the show. You can explain that the candy bowl isn't in the catalog, but that it's something special you can offer them. You can also let them know that if they book the show, they'll receive the bowl as a thank you for hosting. If the show doesn't happen, then you can just write off the bowl. You don't want to come across as rude, so be sure to explain the offer in a friendly and professional manner. Additionally, be sure to clearly explain the details of what is included in the offer, such as how many pieces of candy are in the bowl, what kind of candy, etc. That way, everyone knows what to expect going into the show.

There are a few different ways you can offer the prep bowls with candy as an incentive for booking a show. Here are a few ideas:1. Offer the prep bowls with candy as a booking incentive at your shows. You can display the bowls and candy on your display table and mention that anyone who books a show with you that night will receive a free prep bowl filled with candy. This way, you are not singling out any one guest and it doesn't come across as rude.2. If you are doing a booking blitz or calling past hostesses, you can mention the prep bowls with candy as a booking incentive. Explain that you are offering this as a special gift for anyone who books a show with you during the blitz or within a certain timeframe.3. Another option is to bring the prep bowls and candy as a sample to your shows. Display them on your table and mention that they are a new product that you will be offering as a booking incentive. Let the guests know that they will receive the prep bowl filled with candy when they hold their own show with you.No matter which option you choose, make sure to follow up with the hostess after the show to remind her about the prep bowl incentive and to confirm that she still wants to hold her show. If the show does not end up happening, you can keep the prep bowls and candy for future use or give them away as a gift to another hostess.
