So I have my first bridal shower show this Sunday and I have the bridal apron I was going to have the guests sign when they arrived but what is the best "pen" to have them use?? The skinny tipped perm markers?

I got fabric markers in different colors at Hobby Lobby.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of pen is best for signing bridal shower aprons?

The best type of pen for signing bridal shower aprons is a fabric marker or a permanent marker designed for use on textiles. These pens are specifically formulated to adhere to fabric without smudging or washing out, ensuring that the signatures remain vibrant and intact.

Should I choose a fine tip or a broad tip pen for apron signings?

A fine tip pen is generally recommended for apron signings, as it allows for more precise and detailed signatures. However, if you want bolder, more visible signatures, a broad tip pen can also work well. Consider the overall design of the apron and the space available for signatures when making your choice.

How can I ensure the signatures last after washing the apron?

To ensure that the signatures last after washing the apron, use a fabric marker that is specifically labeled as washable and permanent. Additionally, allow the ink to dry completely before handling the apron, and wash it inside out on a gentle cycle with cold water to minimize fading.

Can I use regular ink pens for signing aprons?

It is not advisable to use regular ink pens for signing aprons, as they may not adhere properly to fabric and can easily smudge or wash out. Always opt for fabric markers or permanent markers that are designed for use on textiles to achieve the best results.

What colors of pens work best for apron signings?

Bright and contrasting colors work best for apron signings, as they stand out against the fabric. Popular choices include black, white, gold, and silver, depending on the color of the apron. Consider using multiple colors to create a fun and vibrant design that reflects the theme of the bridal shower.
