ChefAlicia said:I use the word "AWESOME" because i do use that word a lot. Sometimes during the show I will just shout out "awesome awesome awesome" to get everyones attention. It is cute to see them all scrambling to figure out how many times I said the word and who should end up with the prize. I have been playing that game for awhile and i love it.

LOL - think I need more sleep at night...

JAE said:I watched the first two cooking shows while I was walking on the treadmill. That helped me to not fall asleep! And, it helped make the treadmill walking seem to go faster. I can't wait to exercise outside again. Anyway, I am totally a Teresa. I noticed how she jumped around and was forgetting things. It seemed a little chaotic at times, but it was fun for the guests. I thought Jennifer's was a little slow and a little dull, but she was very deliberate and probably didn't forget things because of it. Not my style, though. I haven't watched the last one, yet. I'll probably wait until I do the treadmill thing again. (I use my neighbor's treadmill, and today I'm staying home to do Pilates, eventually.)
Yes, Jennifer was the first one. Jillian is the last one, and I haven't watched it yet.wadesgirl said:Was Jennifer the first one? Did the nutty caramel brownies?

Yes, I thought having the people come over by her to do the job was the tedious part. It's already uncomfortable for people to be in the spotlight (some people), so let them have a little comfort in their own spot.wadesgirl said:Then I agree with you on Jennifer, it was a little boring and slow going. I do my interactive show sort of the same way only I set up stations around the table so I don't have to call people to come forward. I need to watch the rest of them!

Totally agree, I liked Therea's style the best, even though I am a Jillian I want to be more like Theresa and have interactive shows from here on out! Too bad it's not happened yet in 2 shows since watching it, but soon I hope!ChefBeckyD said:That is what I thought too - it took time to have each person come up to do each step, and I thought it made the demo longer, not shorter.
I have done a couple interactive shows ( and I have one tonight - yea!) and I just have everyone stand around the table or island, and we pass the recipe around to the different stations as we are working on it, and are working on more than one thing at a time. I would get a couple people going on one part of the recipe, and then start in with the next part. Tonight we are doing the Mini Pesto Pizzas and Cran-Rasp. Fizz, and my host is SO excited about getting to try out the UM, and some of the other products!
JAE - that may be why I like Theresa's the best too - I tend to jump around and go with the flow at shows.....so being as methodical as Jennifer would never work for me!
JAE said:So did you sell knives tonight? I like letting people use the Citrus Press and the MAG, two of my faves.

Awesome Becky! Congrats! See this is exactly why I want to start doing these! How are you approaching the host: telling them your new style or asking them if it's ok?ChefBeckyD said:I booked a show because someone wants the whole set......There were 5 guests there, and I got 3 bookings! People had so much fun playing with the tools! One of the other bookings was someone who wants the UM, and the other was to get the Salad Spinner.....oh - and I really got 4 bookings, because one of the guests decided to wait until the booking for March held, and book her April show from there, so that the March Host can get the salad spinner too! What a fun night when everyone books! (the only person who didn't was a guest of someone - so hey, she might be waiting until the friend she came with has a show, and book from her!)

In the context of Pampered Chef, being a Jillian, Jennifer, or Teresa refers to different personality types or approaches to direct sales within the company. Each name represents a unique style of selling and engaging with customers, helping consultants identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
You can determine your type by reflecting on your sales approach, customer interactions, and personal preferences. Consider how you relate to customers, your selling techniques, and what motivates you in your Pampered Chef business. There may also be quizzes or assessments available through Pampered Chef resources to help you identify your type.
A Jillian is typically characterized by being highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on achieving specific goals. They often excel in planning and executing successful parties, and they thrive on structure and clear expectations. Jillians may also be great at following up with customers and maintaining relationships.
A Jennifer is often seen as a social butterfly who enjoys connecting with people and building relationships. They are usually enthusiastic, charismatic, and skilled at creating a fun atmosphere during parties. Jennifers are great at engaging customers and may prioritize social interactions over strict sales tactics.
A Teresa is typically known for their creativity and adaptability. They often think outside the box and are willing to try new approaches to selling. Teresas may focus on storytelling and personal experiences to connect with customers, making their sales approach feel more relatable and authentic.
