One of my old neighbors recently passed away and at the wake I ran into everyone from our old neighborhood, We were thinking of planning something for when one of our close friends was home from Montana. Well guess what she is here and I have yet to do anything. She is here until August 18. opinions needed do you think I should just bite the bullet and maybe do it for a weekday evening so maybe more people can come. Weekends are so busy this time of year. Anyone ever done anything like this> Most everyone is still local (within an hour). Any ideas would be helpful

I think it would work fine! Make it a pot luck, start when you would start your PC shows in your area, most people will stay a couple of hours and then head home for the work day tomorrow.

It makes the gathering short and sweet, people that want to hang out longer will. Or they'll get together later.

I've done weekday parties with much success.

Thanks! I think I am just going to go for it! Anyone have any clever ideas?

Use lots of PC to show off!!! For your efforts, maybe you'll get some bookings, orders, or maybe even a recruit!:D At the very least you should have fun getting together with old friends.:)
