Hello, I was just wondering if anyone was going to Conference from Northern MA/Southern NH!?!?

I'll be in Maine at conference time-I plan on going, unless airfare goes up and not down. Where do you plan on flying out of?

I was thinking Logan, cause JetBlue has it as $246 roundtrip. I also looked at Southwest, which flies out of Manchester, that was $325. I live 15 minutes away from Manchester, so I'm trying to weight out the pros & cons to both.

That's where I am at-I'm checking everyday. I think I'm going to wait about a month before I book anything. I haven't registered for conference, but flights should come down a little(I hope). I've looked at Bangor, Portland, Manchester and Boston. We're buying a house when we get to Maine, so if we can save $10 it was worth it, ya know?

I'm in MA and will probably got out of Manchester. It's so much easier than Logan.

I'm going out of Logan. I got it for $255 or something (including tax) with American.

It was either Logan, TF Green or Hartford for me, but I'm in Southern Mass.

Just remember that gas will probably be higher then, so driving far to save a couple bucks on airfare might bite you in the butt.

Yea, Logan is an hour away from Merrimack, but the difference in airfare is $79. I don't think it will make much of a difference between Boston or Manchester. IDK, my Mom is coming with me, so we're going to talk about it, plus ask my Dad, cause he's the one that will be picking us up. I think he can handle it though, b/c I dropped them off & picked them up in Logan at the beginning of the month. I sent them to Disney World for 5 days!!

Flying out of manchester and portland can add a ton to your bill. I hat Logan but it is a huge savings.

Watch the fares thru Travelocity or another similar site. They update you when fares change.

Logan also has some shuttle services. Like if you are anywhere near Portsmouth, Dover or Newburry port you can use the C&J bus. It is great!

Oh yeah, I've considered that too. DH wants to make sure my show schedule picks up to where I want it to be 'to make sure it's worth it.' However, he gets to go away for a few days at a time quite frequently, so I'm definitely doing this. :) I can't wait!!!!

Anybody who hasn't reserved airfare yet-check skybus. I think they go out of Logan(if my memory is serving me correctly) and into Winston Salem, NC then up to Chicago. But their fares are so inexpensive it may be worth it. Just a thought, though.

Last time I looked Skybus also went out of Pease in Newington NH

AA $230 - LoganHi,
Skybus did go out of NH not Logan but as of April 5th they were out of business :-(
I am leaving from Logan on Wed. July 9 - and staying through Sat July 12.
I got a flight with American for $230 round trip including taxes and fees.

i checked orbitz first - american was the lowest - then went and bought the ticket on American's site to save orbitz booking free.

Air Tran is usually around the same price.
good luck!

I am going out of Manchester on the 9th leaving with United. Cost me a total of $258 but I booked about a month ago. I checked today and it's now about $380. I booked through Travleocity. It was cheaper to go United than any other including Southwest wich surprised me.

I am flying out of Manchester on the 13th. 268$ I think it was. Cool to see all you that are fairly close to me!

I'll be in that area about a month BEFORE conference ... too bad I can't stick around!

My dad, stepmother and aunt are all going north to visit my two aunts who live out there .... I went there a couple of years ago and would you believe I never saw the beach? It is my aunt's birthday so they are going to the casino that day.

My aunt lives right across the NH border ... when I went out to see her last time I drove and so I'm familar with all those towns ... it is a beautiful place. Only bummer is that the trip is during SAT ... so I'm hoping my family will host a show while I'm up there!
