If you are going to go toward her donating the host specials, how about turning it into a fundraiser for the church, and invite the congregation to attend. that relieves her of the burden, and she gets credit for helping the church out.
If I were you, I would not try to explain it in an invitation. I would explain that everyone wins a REAL prize, and wait for the show to explain detail. If someone contacts you, then by all means explain the rules, but otherwise, you will lose some while trying to read what you send out
