Also making Linguini Baccala for those brave ones in my family...
Baccala is a dried cod, an italian traditional Christmas Eve dish, but I have no clue how to prepare it, I'm the adventurous type and since my DW's family is Italian ( I mean from Italy) I thought it would be a cool surprise for them.
Now I need help from all my Italian friends here. What are some ideas for the preparation and serving of Baccala, I'd like to use rustic recipes if possible, it is going to be part of my Christmas Eve feast this year.
Has anyone done a poker themed show?
I brainstormed this idea, and since I play a lot of poker, I think I found a fun way to incorporate it into a show. Every guest gets so much in monopoly money before the show and everyone is given 2 cards. At designated times on the presentation people can...
Out of curiosity, who has tried a different type of business other than salons, I will do that, but am looking for other avenues. Which of these would work? Insurance agencies, doctor's offices, nursing homes, flower shops, gyms? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Just under $2700 in my 4th month, can't complain. Had 1 cooking show, 1 fundraiser and the Mystery host Catty show. Had 2 cooking shows cancel and 3 of my 10 mystery hosts flaked out on me. I have some guilt trips to lay and need to get January scheduled and get my daughter to Disney!
I am doing a fundraiser open house for a Local Humane Society on Sunday, we have 28 confirmed guests, I am making 2 Pumpkin Trifles ahead of time and will be garnishing them at the show. Good luck!
Janet, thanks so much, having lost my mother earlier this year, and now planning Thanksgiving and Christmas without her for the first time, this story really hit home, thanks so much for posting and God Bless.
I have 8 participants, ending it on the 24th, I have 2 hostesses that have informed me that they have over 250 in sales already and there is about a week or so left to collect orders! I'm hoping for 1400 with only 8 participants.
If there are any vets in our forum, I want to say that I appreciate your sacrifice and that you can never be repaid for what you have done to secure our freedom and liberty. God Bless you and yours.
This is a great opportunity to contact hosts that have bought the 5" utility knife or a single piece cookware, it's their chance to get a set of knives or a set of cookware. I'll be on the phone all weekend.
