The forum discussion centers around the unexpected receipt of a Tasty Tidbits newsletter from an unknown sender, prompting users to explore how email addresses are added to contact lists. Participants suggest that the sender may not be aware of the recipient's inclusion on their mailing list, often due to automatic additions in email clients like Outlook Express. Users recommend politely reaching out to the sender to request removal from the list, sharing personal anecdotes about similar experiences with newsletters and the importance of maintaining separate contact lists for different purposes.

rennea said:Very strange, I recieved a Tasty Tidbits newsletter today from somebody I don't knowI wonder where they would have gotten my email from?
cookingwithkelly said:She probably doesn't even realize you're on her list. I use Outlook express and have noticed that email addresses are automatically added to my address book when someone emails me- they've also been added when I receive a forward from someone that lists other recipients, kwim? Have you ever received email from someone on this site (ie, from the spoilers during Conference)? I know I did and the senders address wound up in my contact list. I remembered that the address belonged to this consultant (who posts regularly on here) and removed her from my contacts when I sent out my newsletter. But, had I not recognized it, she would have gotten my Tasty Tidbit, too!!
Am I making sense? I bet she has no idea you're on her list.
You may be receiving a Pampered Chef newsletter from a consultant who has added you to their mailing list. This can happen if they believe you might be interested in their products or if you’ve previously interacted with Pampered Chef in some way, such as attending a party or visiting their website.
Your email address could have been added to the mailing list if you provided it during a Pampered Chef event, such as a cooking party, or if you signed up for information on their website. Additionally, consultants may collect emails from friends, family, or acquaintances who they think would enjoy the newsletter.
