I'm curious what's selling for you. I was curious how many I've sold between my one cooking and one catalog show so I looked and not doing too bad. What's funny is I'm really talking up the daisy plates and mentioning the the others but I've sold the most in scrapers so far.

My goal is to sell 150 products this month.

Here is my top 5 sales list for May:

GR14 Pink Flexible Scraper 7
GR13 Cake Tester 6
GR16 The Pampered Chef® Favorites Recipe Card Collection 4
GR15 Dots Microfiber Towel 4
HS85 Four sets of Daisy Dessert Plates and Appetizer Plate Stand 3

Good job! I spend quite a bit of time talking about them and I have them with me but in 2 shows I have sold none. I can't believe it - I love the the products this time! Guess it's the crowds. Neither host booked for the specials - it was just a good date for them.

Oh well, I should sell several at tonights show. This host is an every May host with a mom who is a survivor.

I don't have the all of the numbers but what I remember in the only party I have for May is:

4 cake testers
2 recipe card collections
past host of the daisy plates (set of four with the appetizer stand).

Will be doing more with this. I like the products this year but May is bad for me in my personal life and some are logging on, seeing the specials and not wanting the host specials. This seems to happen every May for me.

I have had 2 shows and sold nothing. Not sure why???

I think the recipe cards are the best buy of the bunch. I haven't looked up to see what I've sold most in my first two May shows. I have four shows next week and then two more the following weekends, so my count will change drastically. :)

I love the recipe cards!
They are going to be my end of the year Teacher Gift!!!
for 5 bucks you can't beat it!

Great tip!

On a side note about the recipe cards, I have the ones from HO for the theme shows with my info on them. When I do my recruiting info (1-2-3 envelopes) I end with the ticket game, but instead of giving tickets, I give out the recipe cards. It's been really well received too! HTH!

glad I'm not the only one - what's the 1-2-3 envelope?

Sorry! Didn't mean to make you feel dumb! Here's what I do... I just learned this at our Director Retreat in March and so far it's been helping me get some really good leads! Before I start my booking slide, I pass out 3 envelopes, each with a 1, 2 or 3 on the front. I tell the person to hold onto it, but not open it until I tell them. I go through the booking slide, ending with the consultant opportunity. I refer them to the back of the catalog and talk briefly about the kit. Then I say, "But I want you to really understand what's in it for consultants when they do a show... who has envelope #1? Open it and tell us what's in it." She opens the envelope and pulls out a $100 bill (fake). Then I say, "That's what the average consultant earns each night when she does a show. Who has envelope #2? What's in your envelope?" She opens it and pulls out 5 $100 bills. I say, "When you do just one show a week, you'll have about $500 at the end of the month. How does that sound? What could you do with an extra $500? Who has envelope #3?" She opens it and pulls out a commission statement of mine where I did 5 shows... I have the amount I earned from the 5 shows highlighted and then the amount I earned as a director highlighted. I ask her to read the 1st highlighted number and say, "That month I did five shows and earned $561 (or whatever it is), but what I really want you to hear is the amount I earned as a director. What is the other highlighted number?" She reads it and it's double the amount as a consultant. I say, "I still went out the same number of nights that month, but my commission doubled because I helped other people start Pampered Chef businesses of their own. We have great opportunities for everyone, even those looking for management positions." Then I collect the envelopes as I talk and then say, "I'm going to give you the opportunity to ask me any questions you would like about our business opportunity...." and go into the ticket game. Instead of giving out tickets, I give out the recipe cards until my timer goes off.Hope that explains it a little! Please feel free to ask me any questions!PS: Others also include a commission statement from their upline in envelope #3 so people can really see the big picture of how much we can earn. :)

I am shocked at how few pink items I have sold. I love these products and just knew that everyone else would too! I think I have sold 5 cake testers, 2 dot's towels, and I pink scraper. I did a HWC FR last night, there were 6 ladies there and no one bought any of the HWC items. My HWC balloon is deflating....

I'm surprised as well about the lack of enthusiasm for the pink products, even though I love them this year! I've only had 2 shows in May so far, but even mentioning them toward the end of April, I had NO takers for preorders. The daisy plates have been my high sellers. I had someone buy two sets from a show last weekend and the host got the host special with 16 plates and the caddy. Interesting!

The Scraper's are in first for me. I hope as the month goes by I see an increase in the pink sales though. I agree with all of you, these products are super. What REALLY surprises me is that the cake testers are NOT being chosen.

I haven't tallied anything yet I know I have sold 12+ cake testers. A lady I know bought 8 to give to her relay for life team.

Not sure if it was mentioned anywhere, but the cake testers look cute stuck in a house plant and given as a gift. :)

Having a RFL fundraiser in memory of one of our students. His mom works in the kitchen here for me and the dad is a custodian.

With my food service staff here, I had just under $600 in sales in March for a fundraiser.

I put 150 mini catalogs, OOF and a small flyer in every teacher and staff members' mail box. I have an order from a secretary and a monitor that total $54.00. It ends on Friday and I put out a reminder to all this afternoon.

Keep in mind that I am a department head so I am sensative to people thinking that I will be profiting. I let them know that all of my commission will be donated back to the team.

Just have a bad feeling that these people won't come through and it ticks me off. My employees start at $8 to $9 an hour and 75% don't work enough hours to make health benefits. But they were able to come up with lots of orders. Grrrrrrrrr......:grumpy::mad:
