This is my first post but I really have enjoyed all the information. I have a question about what to give my new consultants.

Can you clarify?Do you mean to help her business or as a welcome gift?

what to giveI mean to help her business. Do you give her a booking binder or any fliers to make her own?

One of the best ideas I heard at National Conf. last year was to give your new consultant 4 hostess packs, so she could give them to his/her hosts without having to wait for the kit. I also make sure to give them a copy of "What to Do While Waiting for Your Kit To Arrive" (I'm pretty sure there is a copy in the files on this board) so they have everything in order when the kit arrives and they can hit the ground running. ;)

I give new consultants host packets for their first shows and the checklist that I am attaching to this post as well as a list of 100 flyer. At the first meeting I give them a pin that says "The Pampered Chef" so they have something to wear when out and about. It's a great conversation starter to wear PC logo things...

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some essential items to give my new consultants?

Providing essential items such as a starter kit that includes product samples, catalogs, order forms, and marketing materials can help your new consultants get started on the right foot. Additionally, consider including a guide or manual that outlines best practices for selling and hosting parties.

Should I provide training materials to my new consultants?

Yes, offering training materials is crucial. This can include access to online training sessions, video tutorials, and written guides that cover product knowledge, sales techniques, and party planning. These resources will empower your consultants to feel confident and informed as they begin their journey.

How can I support my new consultants beyond physical items?

Support can come in many forms, such as regular check-ins, mentorship, and creating a supportive community. Encourage your new consultants to join group chats or social media groups where they can share experiences, ask questions, and celebrate successes together.

Is it beneficial to give incentives to new consultants?

Absolutely! Incentives such as bonuses for reaching sales milestones or recognition for hosting successful parties can motivate new consultants. Consider creating a rewards program that acknowledges their efforts and encourages them to strive for their goals.

What kind of promotional materials should I include?

Including promotional materials like business cards, flyers, and social media graphics can help new consultants market themselves effectively. Make sure these materials are visually appealing and clearly communicate the benefits of the Pampered Chef products they are selling.
