Hi again all. The hostess for one my first shows is a vegetarian. Anyone got any good recipes/ideas? I need something that even the diehard carnivores will enjoy without offending the hostess. Thanks in advance for any and all ideas :)

Cool Veggie Pizza is the first thing that comes to mind.

Do a recipe search behind CC with the keyword MEATLESS and you'll find plenty.

Would love to but haven't gotten my kit or password yet and offices are closed til tomorrow. But thanks for the idea, once I get logged on there I have a LOT of research to do. Just thankful you'll are keeping me busy in the meantime. Am learning oodles.(lol)

Does she eat eggs? You could do a baked omelett or fritatta.

Dessert are generally vegetarian is she is okay with dairy.

Here's Cool Veggie Pizza. I know it says to use the Large Round Stone, but it can be made VERY easily in the Large Bar Pan in your kit as well.

I did a fun "pizza, pizza" party recently for a vegetarian. I made the fantastic foccacia bread and desert pizza (sugar cookie as dough, cream cheese mixture for "sauce" and various fruit for topping). It was a hugh hit and no one missed the meat!!

The three cheese garden pizza is awesome, I love doing it at shows and everyone loves it. Let me know if you want the recipe and I'll send it to you. I don't have it right now, its on my work computer.

The three cheese garden pizza comes in the new kit materials, I think.

I saw the recipe under new consultant recipes and it does look tasty. Actually all three of the recipes look like they're vegetarian friendly. Not vegan friendly but I do know she does, cheese, eggs and milk. Just nothing with a face.(lol)

I did a Vegas Casino show on Friday night, but since it is Lent for me and many of my customers it had to be meatless. I have attached the recipes I made for the show.

check out Joycesfinecooking.com

There is a bunch of PC recipes on there.

If she eats the soy crumbles, you could do the taco ring.

How about a dessert? Who doesn't love chocolate?

My family is vegetarian so I do make a lot of recipes from PC and substitute with fake meat. A great recipe is Asian Summer Salad and in the cooks tips it tells you to substitute firm tofu for the poultry.

Love the ideas. The show went well, made the elegant artichoke cups and they were delish. All of them were eaten :)

I love the new ideas you'll give as well and am going to be checking into them. Need to come up w/some other simple recipes so I can give hosts a choice of what they'd like to serve.

I always get a great response when I do the Grecian Party Squares for the vegetarian crowds...OR you could use this opportunity to do the Lime Berry Trifle!!
