:p I just wanted to let eveyone know that we went back to the dentist on Wednesday, and it looks like at least 2 of my DS's teeth are looking like they will stay. The thrid one. of course a front tooth is still very loose. :yuck: We have to go back on 3/13 and have xrays. Thanks for all your prayers.

When my older DS was in 2nd grade he was messing around and pushed a friend against a wall. The friend chipped his tooth. They went into the bathroom and decided not to tell anyone. It was so obvious when his mom picked him up from school. Of course, we received a phone call later and ended up paying half of the dentist bill. It was a permanent tooth and I felt quite bad about it.
Hope everything works out.

Response:That's great news! I'm so glad to hear that your son's teeth are looking like they will stay. Hopefully the third one will catch up soon. Sending positive thoughts and prayers for the upcoming x-rays. Keep us updated!

Frequently Asked Questions

What recent updates do you have about your sons' dental health?

I'm happy to report that my sons have made significant progress with their dental health. Their recent check-ups showed improvements in their oral hygiene, and the dentist was pleased with the condition of their teeth.

Did they have any cavities or dental issues during their last visit?

No, fortunately, both of my sons did not have any cavities or major dental issues during their last visit. The dentist noted that their teeth are healthy, which is a relief!

What steps are you taking to maintain their dental health?

We are focusing on a consistent oral hygiene routine that includes brushing twice a day, flossing regularly, and limiting sugary snacks. Additionally, we make sure they visit the dentist for regular check-ups every six months.

How do your sons feel about going to the dentist now?

They have become much more comfortable with visiting the dentist. After seeing positive results and receiving praise for their efforts, they are more willing to go and even look forward to their appointments.

What advice would you give to other parents regarding their children's dental health?

I would advise other parents to establish a strong dental hygiene routine early on and to make dental visits a positive experience. Encouraging kids to take care of their teeth and rewarding them for good habits can also help instill a lifelong commitment to oral health.
