Trivets: Design, History and Promotions

In summary, trivets are primarily used to protect surfaces from heat damage and can also serve as decorative elements in the kitchen. They have been used since ancient times, originally made of metal and used over fire, and have evolved to be made of various materials such as wood, ceramic, and cast iron. Trivets can also serve other purposes such as serving dishes, decorative elements, and even cutting boards or serving trays. They come in a variety of designs, ranging from simple to elaborate, and may feature designs specific to certain cultures or regions. At Pampered Chef, there are often promotions and discounts available for their trivet collection.

Does the trivet design change yearly?

When did they start selling these?

Can we get one FREE every year, as long as we promote them at every show?

It changes every year in September.

They started the Trivets in 2006 - 2005 was the last year they offered the stoneware molds.

We can get a free one each year on supply order, no matter what.

yes we get 1 free each year...

The new one is pretty. It's square, and will be available September 1.
There's info in the special edition CN about how to get one for yourself.

I posted in the Marketplace thread about this for you. They call the first one 2006 since it came out in F/W 2006 but was sold through S/S 2007. They change every fall. The new one will be the third.
