I went on there just now and it looks like maybe a lot of the offending posts have been removed? There's one right near the top, and someone has already responded to it. One lady posted today apologizing for posting her information yesterday!

They're still there, just farther down. There are many less today than yesterday.

Just to clarify - any mention of the training being boring has been made in the chatbox and threads on this site, NOT on the FB page.;)

Becky is correct. I made the statement in the Chatbox of CS. :o I'm glad I'm not the only one who found them to be a little mundane...must be lots of know-it-alls here! I would never post anything like that on the PC FB page. But I digress...:p

I agree with all of you that until the page dies down with all of the "join my team" "visit my website" "buy from me" posts, I will probably stay away. It gets very overwhelming - and I'm a consultant! I can't imagine being a customer, potential host/consultant!!! :yuck: I mean, seriously...who wants to be bombarded like a fish in a shark tank?!

The moderator seems to be there much more today!

I should have known better than to comment on the PC FB page. Now I'm getting tons of facebook emails from people with questions about the policies and technical help. Great.

Just preparing you for your future job as moderator!

I think the problem is that first - they don't want to have to work their businesses - it's much easier to just jump on unsuspecting people who post a question on Facebook - "Ohhh, look - business out of the blue!"...

and second, once they're told they can't do that, instead of READING (or listening) what has already been provided to them, it's much easier to just be spoon-fed the info.

It's just sheer laziness. (IMO - yours may vary...)

You hit the nail on the head, Becky!

Two new ones just popped up. So annoying! I flagged them-yup I'm a tattletale! lol

I don't think flagging sends a message to PC though, just FB. And since it's not against FB's policy, I doubt that'll do anything.

Oh, darn! Okay, well I won't waste my time there anymore. lol!

Exactly! That's really what I'm using it for. I will continue to post tips and recipes (content marketing) and have my PWS link in my profile. I will not bombard my friends with PC nonsense. They'll no longer be my friends if I do.

Keith - after reading so many of your posts today and on previous threads, I have to tell you, you have become one of my CS heroes! Especially today on this particular thread. Thanks for being you!

Thank you, thank you. You may use my profile picture as the basis for the bronze casting. We can display my statue at McCormick Center.

After permission from Di_Can_Cook, I posted a little apology on the PC FB page in behalf of all of us.

I just read it. Great job Amy and Di Can Cook

I was thinking more of a side profile...

I figured it wouldn't take long for the HO to take care of that stuff. In a few weeks things will calm down and they'll only have the occasional new person to deal with.

Ohhhh the mod just cleaned up the page Yayyyyyyyyy!

Check out the Pampered Chef's FB page. They got rid of all the junk and it's usable information for our customers now.

Also, it seems that anyone that used the company logo (like myself) as their picture, have no comments listed on their anymore. They seem they are encouraging us to use our own photo. I just can't find the camera cord to plug into the computer to do it.

it's all still there if you have clicked Pampered Chef + others

Yes, they're still there, but the page has been changed to default to "Pampered Chef Only" so that customer's won't see everyone else's posts unless they choose to. I think that's a great thing, because it makes it easier for the customer to find the post they probably want.

ohhhhh ok! I thought I was clicking it by accident. Love that!

I just went on to see how it was going on there... One lady asked, "Can anyone tell me a good way to bait new consultants into signing up:cry:?"! I nearly choked! I sent her a message that customers see what everyone writes as well and she would probably want to remove that remark and take the PC courses. I thought I sounded much nicer than saying, "Hey stupid! That is SOOOOO inappropriate" on her post. Anyway, she sends me a message back that said, "I am still a new consultant, hence my comment... and yes, I have taken the courses. thanks anyway. please do not contact me again." Geez...should have just let HO tell her off! I did see some posts from HO in the last hour or so, removing some posts from consultants to several people asking for more info and referring them to the "system" of using the "Join Us" tab, etc. so they are pretty on top of it.

That is, as we French would say, complètement ridicule! i can't believe she said that to you.

Yeah well, it takes all kinds! One lady I sent a message to last night said, "I don't know who that Keith person is, but you were much nicer." I told her I knew who you were from ChefSuccess and you were a nice person but were much more blunt than I am! ;)

Haha. I wasn't even rude in my comments. I was straightforward. She'll get over it.

Yeah...in fact, I copied and pasted your comments into the message I sent her and another consultant! LOL! I thought that was just too funny! Maybe you just look "rude"! LOL! NOT!

It's true. I'm not smiling in my FB pic. I was going for sexy and sultry so I'm staring at the camera.

Thanks for the laugh this morning!
