theOfficial Hijacking Threads Hijack Thread

In summary, many people are complaining about the way threads get hijacked and morph into something completely unrelated to the original thread title. Some say it's just the way normal conversation flows and topics change as one topic reminds speakers of another. Others say thread hijacking is an awful thing and it is terribly annoying. Well, this thread is going to stay on topic: thread hijacking! Few things are harder to put up with than the annoyance of a good example.

Would you expect anything less than an interesting contradiction from me?

  • #1,102
Nope. That's why we love you. :)

  • #1,103
Aw, gee. I love you, too.

Okay so I listened to DH and saw the doctor. He said that if I hadn't have gone in I would have been in the ER by tomorrow or Sunday and had to have had surgery on my hand! He gave me antibiotics and said I'll be fine.

Lesson: If an infection develops in your finger and your hand gets reddened too go to see your doctor! - oh, yeah, and listen to your dh or other loved ones. Sometimes they aren't over-reacting.

Lesson learned. I'm glad you're going to be okay. How's your head feeling?

It's killing me - note to me: take some tylenol.

Thanks for asking. - I forgot to mention it to the doctor but I did tell him that my foot was swollen all last week (he ignored that).

No rest for the wicked they say... And besides, don't forget that I'm old.

  • #1,111
No rest for the wicked, and the righteous don't need none.

I just transmitted an order. Sometimes, like now, the "Electronic Connection Order Selection" window says, "Not Connected."I always think, "Not so! I am sooo connected. I have people."Yes, I laugh at my own jokes. I'm my own best audience because I always get the joke. Sometimes others don't.

  • #1,150
G...whatever do you mean??? I am a mother and I can be a mother!! Oh Happy Day!! I must get my but out the door and pick something up for my Mommy and then go see her. Hey...I was in Atlantis getting a tan...I person has priorities, ya know!! Actually, I was there with my son and it was so much fun to be with him for 5 days. He turned 17 and we had so many laughs.
