Hello Fellow Cheffers

I followed the cleaning direction in product use and care for nonstick cookware on CC but the bottom of my saute pan still looks bad, Around the rivets on the bottom is still dark and dirty looking eventhough I used the baking soda paste solution.

Any suggestions??

Sneak into a kitchen store and buy their non stick scrubbers that clean glass, porcelain and nonstick cookware--they are great and do not scratch your cookware. The ones I buy are silver but are not the plastic scrubbers. I give them away to my cookware buyers!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I use to clean my non-stick pan?

To clean your non-stick pan, use a soft sponge or cloth with warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can damage the non-stick coating.

Can I put my non-stick pan in the dishwasher?

While some non-stick pans are labeled as dishwasher safe, it's generally recommended to hand wash them to prolong their lifespan and maintain the non-stick surface.

What if food is stuck to my non-stick pan?

If food is stuck, soak the pan in warm, soapy water for a few minutes to loosen the residue. Then, gently scrub with a soft sponge. For tough spots, you can use a mixture of baking soda and water to create a paste.

Is it safe to use metal utensils on my non-stick pan?

It's best to avoid metal utensils on non-stick pans, as they can scratch and damage the coating. Opt for silicone, wood, or plastic utensils instead to protect the surface.

How can I prevent food from sticking to my non-stick pan?

To prevent sticking, ensure your pan is properly preheated before adding oil or food. Additionally, using a small amount of oil or cooking spray can help maintain the non-stick surface.
