Who May Find This Useful

Consultants navigating similar gift-giving dilemmas or those seeking to understand different perspectives on using their products as gifts may find this discussion relevant.

I have had the same thought in the past. If I give PC will people assume I am giving them things I get for free?? (Which really is not the case - usually only at a discount.)

But what is the difference if you use a coupon at a dept store? Or how about when you spend X dollars and get X dollars free and buy a gift with that?

Also, I just had a host use her FPV on a Rec Stone Baker that she is going to give her sister for XMAS. Is there anything wrong with that?

Can your SIL really say she has never used a coupon or a discount or a sale item for a gift?

Good Luck!

I totally give PC. Every year, my daughter in AZ gets a PC box, and the oldest daughter here in town is constantly coveting my stash of products, so you can bet she gets PC gifts. This year everyone is getting a prep bowl filled with some sort of candy and a SUPRISE!!

This past summer I gave bar pans, rosemary seasoning, a crinkle cutter, a mini serving spatula and a recipe brochure as wedding gifts. For our holiday gift exchange at my networking group it's PC. People expect it, so give them what they want!!

My DS attends the school where I teach, and the teachers are always so excited to see his name on their class list because they know they'll get PC for Christmas!! LOL!

MIL loved the plates!!! She was super excited. Said that she had been thinking about purchasing them every time she looks at the catalog. She also said we gave her way too much. She loved the pumpkin candle holder to.The funny part was when she unwrapped the small plates, she saw the PC box and said "Ooh, I love Pampered Chef, wonder what it is?"And nobody else said anything.

Good for you, that's great!

I gift PC EVERY Christmas! My family loves it!

Oh and Wadesgirl, I'm so happy she loved them! I knew she would!:balloon:;)

Good deal!! I just got the plates this weekend and I hadn't seen them since conference and forgot how nice they are in person. I need to get to 2 more sets of the appetizer plates!!

I give PC gifts too, but I try to be conscious of the gift and make sure I am gifting to someone who will appreciate it. My two SIL's make a wish list for me every year so that I can get them things for their bdays and Christmas. Anyone else, I try to match if they'd like it or not, for instance FIL's wife (it's his 4th) is a wine person, so this year, she will get the wine glasses and pourer, and I may get her a wine book or a cheese book to go with it, etc.
