I have a customer who has expressed her dislike over the gradual "thinning" of our Raspberry Habanero sauce. She said when she first started buying it, it was a lot thicker than it is now. She asked if I could find out if there's a way to thicken it. Anyone have any ideas? TIA!!

Corn Starch?

Have her call HO to voice her opinion.

Fruit pectin changes with temperature and fruit acid content. Tell her its a fresh made product dependent upon fresh produce and to call HO with the quality concern.

Hi there! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand how important consistency is when it comes to our products. We suggest giving the Raspberry Habanero sauce a good shake before using it, as sometimes the ingredients can settle over time. If the consistency is still not to your liking, you can try adding a small amount of cornstarch or arrowroot powder to thicken it. Alternatively, you can also reduce the sauce on low heat to thicken it. We hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other concerns. Happy cooking!
