How long do we have to register?
We will be getting our stim. check on May 2nd. I was hoping that wasn't to late to register. I'm not even 100% sure I want to go. Money is tight right now with DH taking two weeks off when I had the baby, we will be playing catch up! Plus it's going to be very hard for me to leave them home. My son is only two weeks old, as of right now I feel terrible just thinking of leaving him, let alone my two DD. I don't know what I'm going to do but I would like to at least like to know my options.

Yes, you can still register - actually you can register up until, and even at Conference, it's just more money. I believe Early Registration(less cost) closes the end of May, but I'm not sure about that.

I thought early registration closes June 15. Not positive though-it's listed on CC.

Thanks! That extra money will be my ticket!

I believe Anna's right..........June 15th.

I got my room the first day it opened, but still haven't registered yet.

I don't know which classes I want yet!

You can register right up until the first day of your conference. You will save some $$ by registering early though - Early Bird registration closes, I believe, June 15th.

Don't forget if you register and decide not to go, you can get a refund. I think you have to cancel by a certain date.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the time limit for registering for the stimulus check?

The time limit for registering for the stimulus check varies depending on the specific stimulus package and the guidelines set by the IRS. Generally, individuals must register within a certain period after the announcement of the stimulus program. It’s important to check the IRS website for the most current deadlines related to each stimulus check.

How can new parents register for the stimulus check?

New parents can register for the stimulus check by filing their tax return, even if they do not normally file. They can use the IRS Non-Filers tool if they are not required to file a tax return. It’s essential to include any qualifying children in the registration to ensure they receive the appropriate amount.

What considerations should new parents keep in mind when registering?

New parents should consider their eligibility based on income and family size, as these factors affect the amount of the stimulus check. Additionally, they should ensure that they have the correct Social Security numbers for themselves and their children, as this information is crucial for processing the payment.

Will registering for the stimulus check affect my tax return?

Registering for the stimulus check does not directly affect your tax return, but it may impact your tax situation in the following year. The stimulus check is considered an advance on a tax credit, so if you receive it, it will be reconciled on your tax return for that year. If you qualify for a larger amount based on your tax return, you may receive additional credits.

What should I do if I missed the registration deadline?

If you missed the registration deadline for the stimulus check, you may still be able to claim the payment when you file your tax return for the year. The IRS allows individuals to claim any missed stimulus payments as a Recovery Rebate Credit on their tax return, so it’s important to file even if you missed the initial registration.
