Out of the blue a lady called me today to book a cooking show!! She saw a catty at work and the "girls" at her work want to get together and have a show!!!!!! Lucky me, but I haven't did a real cooking show in over a year:eek:

Gee, I think I might be a tad bit freaked out:eek:

Wish me luck..................

You'll be great!! Have confidence in yourself, and you'll go far!!

Good luck! (Not that you'll need it. :))

You'll be fine. Pick a recipe that you are familiar with or simple (30 minute chicken) and have FUN!!!

GOOD LUCK!!!
You'll be FINE........;)

Ask if she wants to do a demo show or if everyone just wants to get together, eat and socialize (no-demo show). If she wants a demo, pick something EASY. The hot pizza dip with italian bread is really super yummy and everyone scarfs it up. It uses tools from the starter kit too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do to prepare for my first cooking show in over a year?

Start by reviewing your previous cooking show materials and updating your recipe selections to include new products or trends. Make a checklist of items you'll need, including ingredients, tools, and any promotional materials. Practice your presentation to ensure you're comfortable with the flow and timing.

How can I promote my cooking show to get more attendees?

Utilize social media platforms, email newsletters, and personal invitations to spread the word about your cooking show. Consider offering incentives, such as a small giveaway or a discount on orders for attendees. Engaging your audience with enticing visuals and sneak peeks of what they'll learn can also help boost attendance.

What are some easy recipes to showcase at my cooking show?

Choose recipes that are simple yet impressive, such as a quick pasta dish, a fresh salad, or a dessert that highlights a popular Pampered Chef product. Consider recipes that can be prepared in under 30 minutes to keep the audience engaged and allow for interaction during the show.

How can I engage my guests during the cooking show?

Encourage participation by inviting guests to help with simple tasks, such as chopping vegetables or mixing ingredients. Ask questions and create a dialogue about their cooking experiences and preferences. Incorporate fun facts about the products you're using to keep the atmosphere lively and informative.

What should I do if I feel nervous about hosting my first show?

It's normal to feel nervous, especially after a long break. To ease your anxiety, practice your presentation multiple times in front of a mirror or with friends. Focus on the excitement of sharing your passion for cooking rather than on the performance aspect. Remember, your guests are there to learn and have fun, not to judge you.
