I have a binder with a copy of the Host benefits flier in the front; a sectioned area for all the host/guest specials that are current and upcoming; and then a whole section of theme shows/recipes; then I have my why book in back of that so that I can share what the Pampered Chef can do for them and what it has done for me!Humble Beginnings said:I love the theme shows ideas. Wondering how you promote these shows. I was thinking of putting together a "Theme Show Binder" and having it displayed at my shows. What have all of you done to promote these shows?
Thanks in advance!
bsaxman said:I use the theme shows as one of my four commercials during the recipe. It was 100+ degrees here yesterday, so I promoted the "Cold-Stone" Ice cream show that I read about on this site. I got 3 bookings out of the 4 that came and everyone ooo'd and ahh'd about the idea of a stone cold/cold stone show!
Theme shows are events centered around a specific culinary theme, such as "Italian Night" or "Healthy Cooking." They are effective because they create a fun and engaging atmosphere that encourages guests to participate, learn new recipes, and explore products relevant to the theme, ultimately leading to increased sales and bookings.
Choosing the right theme involves considering your audience's interests, seasonal trends, and current cooking fads. You can also survey past guests or look at popular recipes and cooking styles in your area to identify what might resonate best with potential attendees.
Some popular theme show ideas include "Taco Night," "Baking Basics," "Slow Cooker Favorites," "Grilling Extravaganza," and "Meal Prep Made Easy." Each theme can be tailored to highlight specific Pampered Chef products while providing guests with practical cooking tips and recipes.
Promote your theme show through social media, email invitations, and personal outreach. Create visually appealing graphics that reflect the theme, share sneak peeks of recipes or products, and encourage guests to bring friends. Offering incentives, such as a prize for the best dish or a discount on future orders, can also boost interest.
To ensure your theme show is engaging, incorporate interactive elements like cooking demonstrations, hands-on activities, or taste tests. Keep the atmosphere lively with music and decorations that match the theme. Additionally, encourage guest participation by asking questions and sharing their own cooking experiences, which fosters a sense of community and excitement.
