I am really curious to know how all the pregnant women are doing on Chef Success!!
I want to know how far along you are!
What are you craving?
How many shows are you doing per month?
How many children do you already have?
And any other details you might like to share!

Here are my updates!I will be 15 weeks pregnant this Friday. Each Friday it's another week for me.

I have been craving fruit and drinks (tea, lemonade, slushies from Sonic, Cream slushies from Sonic, juices, and water). A great combination. I am always thirsty!!

My bad craving has been pastries!! I love bakeries!!

I am doing 1-2 shows per month. Trying to get some catty shows going.

I have four children so the one in my tummy will make five!!

I am very tired and hope that in my second trimester I will muster up some extra energy.

Last "Whine-ester"I am in what I am now calling the last "whine-ester". I have been fine my entire pregnancy, but I am getting quite crabby in my last two months. I think it has to do more with the fact that we are moving, on top of everything else. Just down the street, but as someone told me, those are usually worse! Instead of just packing the house up, we're doing it a little at a time. YUCK!

I'm due March 14...I'm horrible at counting weeks. I just know I'm close to be being done!

I'm craving OREOS and green chile (not together :p ). I blame the Oreos on my DH. I like them well enough, but I'm not obsessed with them normally. I ate like twenty (how ever many are in a line in a regular package) last night, without even realizing I was doing it! This is baby #4, but boy #1, for us. Which is why I blame my DH, who is an Oreo fiend. It HAS to be the fact that I'm carrying a boy!

I've been pretty consistent my entire career of 4 to 6 cooking shows a month, except for January, which TANKED. I'm not even going to get my cookware bags. :(

We have three girls: Mary Frances, 15 last Sept.; Theresa Grace, 6 just before Christmas; and Caroline Ruth, who turned 2 on November 12, which is also MY birthday! How cool is that!?

My mother has dubbed the little man "Luigi" because we still don't have name. So, "Luigi" is due March 14.

I'm booking March catty's like mad, because I want to take the whole month off. I'm offering an incentive (specifics to be determined) using the extra new products I earned as a Director.

I found that the key for me to maintaining and growing my business was to make a schedule and KEEP it. I don't always get to everything, but I at least know what I am SUPPOSED to be getting done.

Can't join the prego club, but I always craved lots of juices and juicy fruits when I was prego. WOW, you look so young for this one being five! I don't know how you do it! I started young, too. Mine are 7 and 10 now and I can't decide if I want any more......I just turned 30. My husband says if its meant to be it will happen. Wishing you the best for your pregnancy!:)

I will be 8 weeks this Sunday. No morning sickness so far. woohooo (let's hope it continues) I have 1 boy already, Ryan, that is 4. I am due Sept 10th only 5 days after Ryan's birthday.

The only cravings I am having right now are for Boiled Crawfish, Boudin and Cracklins. Can you tell I am from the South!!

You're talking my language. What I wouldn't give for some Boudin (is that the right spelling) on some of that extra-soft white bread you can only get there. I can't remember the name of it...I think it starts with an "E"? A little bit of Miracle Whip...mmmmmmmmmm...

Okay, now I have a NEW craving, only it can't be satisfied...unless you want to send me some in dry ice!

We've had a really cold winter in Albuquerque, and I've been craving sausage and chicken gumbo, but haven't had the oomph to make the potato salad, which I must have with it.

When we lived in Wichita Falls, Texas, our pastors and some elders were from the Lafayette area. I grew to love the food. Love them meat pies! And andoulle (sp?) sausage instead of kilbasa in gumbo can't be beat!

OOOhhh, guess I'm making some gumbo as soon as the move is over. That will help a little bit...

Thanks for awaking my taste buds and cravings!!! :p

They actually have a place here in town that ships boudin. It is a little expensive to have it shipped though. I guess it depends on how much you crave it. If I were anywhere other than here it would be well worth the cost for me!!

Here is their website: http://www.donsspecialtymeats.com/contact.asp

It is $60 for 5 lbs with shipping.

Hey ladies! I am 19 weeks as of Tuesday, and have my "big" ultrasound on 1/31. I am hoping that the baby isn't shy and let's us know what's in there!

I am craving fruit (by the pound) and hot chocolate. I guess it could be worse, but I am worried that I am not eating enough since hot chocolate is so filling and I have 2-3 cups a day. We are talking SA coffee & more cups too!

My show schedule has been horrible, but I am trying to make director and have 2-3 shows for each of the next few months. I think closer to the end I am going to have all my hostesses on standby to do the show themselves if I can't be there and have a kit available for them to pick up.

I already have 2 children. Alexia just turned 3, and insists that this baby is a girl named Brooke. My DH loves the name Brooklyn, but I am not crazy about it. I am worried that I am going to break her heart if we have a boy or change the girl name. My DS is 20 months and a little young to understand the whole thing. He knows I have a baby in my tummy, but thinks everyone else does too, which sometimes offends larger people, LMAO!!

I have felt the baby moving since 14 weeks, but they were always rolls or little cute nudges. This past week the baby has decided that it is done being nice and giving me those take-your-breath-away kicks. Also, my dh passed out while driving on Tuesday (he crashed into the snow thank god!!) and I was so stressed waiting for him to get checked out by the doctors. I ate over 25 tootsie rolls while I was freaking out and the baby was going crazy for hours!! Maybe I should bring some to my ultrasound!!

Congrats to everyone!!

Prego updates - how fun!!I'll be 10 weeks on Saturday.
I have 1 son, he's 20 months and has been an absolute angel (so far)!
I have been craving fried rice, and today started also craving Sour Patch Kids! I've eaten so many today that my toung is getting raw! But I still want more!!!
I'm trying to get my business going from a very slow crawl, to a steady pace of at leat 2 shows per week. I also have a full time job, and I'm finding it hard to do much of anything once I get home from my day job! I've been extremely tired and having m/s off and on throughout the day. I'd love to hear how others are coping! :)

Wow!! Working full time and holding 2 shows a week?? That is incredible! I couldn't get off the couch at 10 weeks!

I noticed we both have 20 month olds! My son Colton was born May 16th, 2005.

Wait, I'm still working toward those 2 shows per week - not quite there yet! :) And it is extremely hard to get off the counch some days. But I'm hoping that gets better soon!

My son Spencer was born May 11th - they're only a few days apart!

It is still a feat that anyone can work full time feeling like I did, and I didn't even have M/S!! I was just SOOOOOOOO tired! And doing PC on top of that? Consider yourself Super-Mommy!!

Debbie is Super Mommy too- HOMESCHOOLING 4 kids!

Gillian, is your DH okay? What did the doctors say?

Neat thread!

I am 32-33 weeks, and having baby #2 on March 9th at 8am via c-section. I have one older daughter - Molly, aged 3.5. We have no idea what this baby will be (besides human :) ) but right now my gut is saying boy....

My whole pregnancy, I have craved chinese food (which I have to get at weird times because Molly has fatal food allergies to eggs and nuts) and Slushies (blue raspberry) and Mall Pretzels (mmmm -want one now!) So far though, I have only put on 9lbs for the pregnancy - I was very sick for much of the first two trimesters.

I am a "hobbyist" and only do about 3 shows a month. Am being gentle with myself about when and how to head back to PC after baby, but my customers are great - two have already insisted on shows after the critter arrives!

Good luck to everyone - now that this thread has started - we can update with more details and new arrivals :)

He is fine, but the doctors said that it was not neurological but related to his heart. After 4 EKG's they aren't satisfied saying that there are minor irregularities with it and he needs to see a specialist. They also told him that he can't drive for 6 months. Well, that isn't going to happen because he is a "plow guy" in Alaska. I will drive as much as possible, but there is no way we can make that work!

We all have a cold, but he was coughing really hard while driving and blacked out. He woke up in the ditch of a busy highway. His dad pulled our van out of the snow and drove him to the doctor. They said that when he coughed he cut off oxygen to his brain and that it is not normal.

I get really scared when his heart is brought into the picture!!

Gillian Your DH is on my prayer list....I'm sure praying he can drive you to the Hospital when the time comes....

Gillian I hope everything is fine with him It is pretty scary when you have anything to deal with the heart I hope they can find out what is wrong. I bet they will do an Echocardiogram on him and that is very painless.
It is also fun hearing about everyone and thier preggo cravings

WowWow Gillian I am so sorry to hear that about your husband. He'll definitely be in our prayers. I hope he gets better soon. Hopefully it's just daddy going through some sympathy pains, I passed out one time at church because I over did it during my last pregnancy.
I hadn't eaten any breakfast and I was about 6 months preggo and over did it the night before cleaning.

It was scary but after that everyone at church tried to feed me Sunday morning which was nice...LOL

I have a ten year old son Michael, a nine year old daughter Nicole, a two and a half year old daughter Naomi, and my youngest at 14 months Isaac. The oldest boy wants another brother to out number the girls and of course the girls want a sister.

I kind of want a little girl. Only cause I really loved the nursing experience with my girls, my boys are so independent and rough. And I do mean rough with those razor sharp teeth...OUCH

But since we want seven in all or whatever the Lord wants to give us, I'll be happy with a happy baby, no matter what it is!!

Debbie :D

Thanks guys- I didn't mean to take over this thread! I am trying not to think about it because scared + crazy preggo hormones= not good thoughts!

I pass out when I am pregnant too because I have low blood sugar. At least I feel it coming on and it hasn't even happened while I was driving.

I can't wait to find out what everyone is having!!

Another pregnant ChefferHello! I am 37 weeks pregnant and can go anytime now. My biggest craving is salads, fruits, and pudding snacks. I can not get enough pudding or spinach salads. Counting down till the due date because I am starting to get really uncomfortable.

Congrats Sarah! Do you know what you are having? I never made it to 37 weeks so that alone is a feat!

I'm happy w/ my sweet 2 week old, but I miss the kicks and only having to get up to pee :) Not his 1-1.5 hour nursing sessions!! My ds1 was born May 24th and is 20 months too!
I just wish everyone good pregnancy luck!!!:D :D

Okay, I'm not in the preggo club, but I had to chime in! My DS was born May 5th, 2005, so he's 20 months too! How funny. And he is only 2 years younger than his brother, so if we were having any more, I would have been preggo now, too!
Good luck to you all! Although I'm not having any more, my brand new God-daughter was born yesterday, so I still have a new baby to cuddle! :)

I am having a boy! My husband and I are both very excited.

me too!I'm pregnant too! 16 weeks & due in July. We have a 15 months old son, Oct. 11, 2005. Congratulations with all of your babies coming soon. We didn't say but can feel that we're hoping for a baby girl. :)

Wow!! A lot of May 2005 babies on here! Must have been a slow PC month that previous August/September!!!

Congrats on the boy Sarah! I am wishing you an easy and smooth delivery!!
