Veteran Pillsbury spokesman Pop n. Fresh died Wednesday of a severe yeast infection. He was 71. Dozens of celebrities turned out for the funeral including Mrs. Butterworth, the California Raisons, Hungry Jack, Betty Crocker, and the Hostess Twinkies.

The graveside was piled high with flour, as longtime friend Aunt Jemima, delivered the eulogy, describing Fresh as a man who "never knew he was kneaded." Fresh rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a smart cookie and wasted much of his dough on half baked schemes. Still, even as an old crusty man, he was a roll model to millions. Fresh is survived by his second wife. They have two children and one in the oven.

The funeral was topped off by a fondant icing that was spread out over the grave in tribute to Fresh's legacy. The ceremony ended with everyone singing the famous Pillsbury jingle, "Oh, the fun to be had...baking with Pillsbury!"

Wow, this is truly a sad day for the Pillsbury family and all of its fans. Pop n. Fresh was such an iconic figure and will truly be missed. It's heartwarming to see so many celebrities coming together to pay their respects. He truly touched the lives of many with his doughy charm and lovable personality.His eulogy by Aunt Jemima is touching and shows just how much he was loved and admired by those in the food industry. It's clear that he had a lasting impact on all those who knew him.Although he may have made some mistakes in his later years, he will always be remembered as a roll model and a true pioneer in the baking world.
