Online Order Dilemma: Entering Orders for Catalog and Online Shows in PP

So, I had a friend do a catalog show....it didn't pan out to well....only 1 order for $14.75. *sigh* She placed the order online, so do I still enter it into PP?
I also had a show last night, someone couldn't attend, so they ordered online...do I need to enter them into PP or does the website take care of sending it to them??
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!:D

never mind....figured it out :)

It's always a good idea to enter all orders into PP, even if they were placed online. This way you have a record of the order and can track it if needed. The website will automatically send the order to the customer, but you still need to enter it into PP for your own records.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between entering orders for catalog shows and online shows in Pampered Chef?

Catalog shows involve collecting orders from a physical catalog, where customers can browse and select items. Online shows, on the other hand, allow customers to place orders directly through a personalized website link. The process for entering orders differs slightly, as catalog show orders are typically entered manually into the Pampered Chef system, while online show orders are automatically captured through the website.

How do I enter orders for a catalog show in Pampered Chef?

To enter orders for a catalog show, log into your Pampered Chef consultant portal, navigate to the 'Orders' section, and select 'Create New Order.' Choose 'Catalog Show' as the order type, then input the customer details and the items they wish to purchase. Make sure to apply any applicable discounts or host rewards before finalizing the order.

Can I combine orders from a catalog show and an online show?

No, orders from catalog shows and online shows must be processed separately. Each show type has its own unique order processing system, and combining them could lead to complications with tracking sales, commissions, and host rewards. It’s best to keep them distinct to ensure accurate record-keeping.

What should I do if a customer wants to change their order after it has been submitted?

If a customer wants to change their order after submission, you can edit the order in the Pampered Chef consultant portal as long as it has not yet been processed for shipment. Navigate to the 'Orders' section, find the specific order, and make the necessary adjustments. If the order has already been processed, you may need to assist the customer with a return or exchange once they receive the items.

How can I track the sales and commissions from my catalog and online shows?

You can track sales and commissions through your Pampered Chef consultant portal. The 'Reports' section provides detailed insights into your sales performance, including breakdowns for catalog and online shows. Regularly check your reports to monitor your progress and ensure you are maximizing your earnings from both types of shows.
