Networking with Other Small & Direct Sales Businesses - Sherry Needs Help!

LizIn summary, networking with other small and direct sales businesses can be a great way to share ideas, support each other, and potentially collaborate on projects or events. This can be done through attending local networking events, utilizing social media, and reaching out to other small business owners for potential collaborations. Does anyone actively network with other small or direct sales businesses? I'd love to hear about it - I need all the help I can get!
TIA - Sherry

yes.... what would you like to know?

I do.If I have another direct sale party, or I come across a small busines that I have great service with - I ask them if I can put them on my monthly newsletter (a blurb at the bottom - please support these other business - ther name, number e-mail or website. If they are new company I do put a little "blurb" in there the first time I list them). I tell them it's free, and that it goes out to my entire customer base every month. I tell them the only thing I ask in return is if you know of someone looking for PC products, or to host a show, I would hope they would refer them to me. It works well. It's FREE advertising for them and for me.

Thanks Liz!
How do you network Paulette? Informally, or networking groups/meetings?
Thanks!

Hi Sherry,As a fellow Pampered Chef consultant, I can definitely relate to the challenges of running a small direct sales business. Networking with other small businesses can be a great way to share ideas, support each other, and potentially even collaborate on projects or events.I personally make an effort to attend local networking events and connect with other small business owners in my area. I also utilize social media to connect with other direct sales consultants and share tips and advice. It can be really beneficial to have a community of like-minded individuals to bounce ideas off of and learn from.I highly recommend reaching out to other small business owners in your area or in your industry and seeing if there are any opportunities to network or collaborate. You never know what kind of valuable connections or resources you may come across.Best of luck with your business!Sincerely,
